Is Sandy Collora planning to make more Batman fan films anytime soon? A lot of people liked Batman: Dead End. Perhaps he should make a Batman vs. Terminator crossover? Any thoughts or news?

Well, he did make "World's Finest", although that also features Superman and Lex Luther.

Dead End was incredible...until the Joker and Batman opened their mouths and spoke.

I commend Sandy for having faith in the visual asthetic of the comics, and his work does prove (at least to me anyway) that the spandex and bear essentials approach to these characters can work in live action media if you want it to.

But he can't write dialogue for s**t. Not that the dialogue is poor...but it's severely predictable and by extension, bland.

Same here CFE. Jesus CFE you truly are a fan of The Dark Knight. 30 times? Thats insane

Yeah but I only paid for a little over half of them.

I'm fully planning out a solid 5 more viewings for the January re-release.

Woah. That is dedication. I'll probally watch the movie 30 times in about 12 month span but 30 times in like 3 months? Thats just amazing. You truly deserve your user name.

I agree, except I thought the Joker was a tad overdone. The nose and eyebrows were a bit much.

I'd like to see a slightly more ghoulish take on a perma-white Joker. I think it could make him look very visually interesting to do his skin like a blood drained corpse, kind of splotchy gray and white.

I agree with the above posters. Looks? Great. But it made me squirm in my chair when the Joker said "Like I'm some kind of bastard child that YOU won't take responsibility for" or something like that.

A good visual fan-made Joker can be found in "Patient J" ... IMO.

Patient J Is OK, it looks good, but I'm not all that sure I cared for the dude's acting.

Good visuals, but the writing sucked hard.
I wouldn't mind seeing another fan film of his as soon as he gets some talent on the script.

I'm surprised he hasn't made a SHAZAM fanfilm yet, given his love for the character and desire to direct the feature film.

Dead End is proof that Batmn should never wear spandex again. So it's good for one thing.

Dead End was OK, and World's Finest was terrible in my opinion. Really not wanting another Batman effort from him

I liked Dead End. It was cool to see Batman vs. Predator.

I just hate the fact that he casts bodybuilders as Batman and Superman.

^Partially agreed. I mean they looked the part, but there's more to it than that...

Did anyone notice that Michael O'Hearn (Clark Kent/Superman in the "Worlds Finest" trailer) was Titan from the new American Gladiators?

I totally disagree. It proves to me a comics style costume WOULD work in a movie. Clark Bartram can't act, but he makes a pretty good looking Batman in that costume, IMO.

True, but I think that the whole point of the film was to show off Collora's visual style, and in that respect, I think he succeeded. I like the way Dead End looked , if nothing else.
(except for those damn Joker caterpillar eyebrows)

I didn't feel it LOOKED cheesy at all, there were some really top-notch Batmannish (is that a word?) visuals. It was the acting I found to be cheesy.

The cat who made Arkham Asylum trailer should definitely do more. That's like the best fan trailer ever.
