Well since it is evident Batman is going to be different from the Nolanverse one, should we go the full hog and make this Batman the Grant Morrison'ish preptime Batgod?? He comes with a Urban Dictionary definition

If you ask me I wouldn't mind. Why? It annoys Superman fanboys to no end. Having it realized on the big screen would be comedy gold . Make him defeat Superman, gods and knock booties with Wonder Woman and still have time for tea.

I definitely don't want to see Batman go crazy with the prep time crap and take down some crazy strong alien villain with some outrageous strategy. But I definitely would love to see him portrayed a lot smarter than Nolan's Batman. In all honesty, I kinda like the scene above where he takes down the Martians, because it's not unreasonable; he's just exploiting their weakness. But it's a thin line between well-prepared and Batgod.

You basically answered your own question. No matter how smart or physically trained to the peak of perfection he is, he's still only human.

God level > human level. Batman = human level. Batman > God > human = fatal flaw in logic.

As much as I love Batman, he should end up a spot of blood everytime he goes up against Superman, Darkseid, or any other ultra powerful being.

Batman works best when going up against gangsters and hoodlums, and the occassional costumed freak. I hate seeing him on other planets, or in extreme sci fi settings.

He belongs in Gotham's shadows.

He doesn't need to resort to killing. He can k.o. Bats with his pinky finger. Or if he can't get close to him because Batman is carrying Kryptonite, a small blow with his superbreath and Bats will be flying into the next nearby wall.

The thing is though, Batman isn't going to be holding Kryptonite out for Superman to see. He is going to keep it hidden and wait until Superman charges him then BAM! Batman wouldn't let Superman limp away either, he would stay on him.
