Mine have to be Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War and GOTG vol 1 much like a lot of folks here. I actually like Endgame more than IW but its such a long movie that its hard to rewatch it.

Unpopular opinion, I really dislike Thor Ragnarok.

Winter Soldier is kind of hypnotic- the pacing is virtually perfect, it really sucks you in. I have it on often in the background.

Absolutely. I distinctly remember watching it the first time and how kinetic it was, especially any time The Winter Soldier himself showed up.

(Also I was enough of a Captain America novice not to know.....certain things ahead of time)

I would argue that its not just the pacing that is perfect. Basically its everything is perfect. The only other MCU film I think is comparable is Black Panther.

TWS is really the whole package. Kinetic action, unforced low key humor, meaningful character interaction (Steve and old Peggy, Steve and Natasha’s dynamic, and of course the two reverse “with you to the end of the line” scenes), twisty intrigue, and a spectacular action packed finale that has both the big spectacle with taking down the helicarriers and the more intimate emotional one on one fight, and The Winter Soldier himself is all kinds of bad-ass and intimidating.

Plus Robert Redford saying “Hail Hydra”.

There’s really not much of anything I’d change, except Natasha’s terrible hairdo.

TWS is insanely re-watchable IMO. I still remember not loving nearly as much as I do now when I first saw it in the theater back in 2014, but it really did grow on me over time. Other MCU films I love to re-watch are The Avengers, Infinity War, Civil War, Iron Man, GOTG, Black Panther and Ragnarok.

TWS is my favorite MCU film yet I have only seen it two times. I think one time every year is enough, I don't over-watch my favorite films but that's me.

Yeah, it's fantastic and the best Marvel film ever made. The dynamic, political stuff, action and Steve's character were the best thing about the film. I'd only put TDK above it when it comes to CBM, due to better villain and better acting but TWS is easily comparable or better than any other CBM IMO.

I agree with this but the tone, makes Civil War a bit more rewatchable IMO.

I think TWS works well when viewed as a stand-alone and from start to finish, meanwhile CW is worse but has some fun stuff etc.

Captain America: Civil War
Captain America: Winter Soldier
The Avengers
Avengers: Endgame
Avengers: Infinity War
Black Panther
Thor: Ragnarok
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Guardians of the Galaxy
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

I was a bit worried for the MCU post Avengers until TWS (and Guardians) came along. I had been asking for what we got in TWS after TFA and Cap in Avengers and was essentially being told to settle, but I think most could see after TWS how good a Cap film can be with the attributes that film added.

  • Captain America: Winter Soldier,
  • Captain America: Civil War,
  • Avengers: Infinity War,
  • Avengers: Endgame.

And, though not as much "re-watchable", I like Iron Man and Thor. (hence somewhat re-watchable.)

For me, every Phase 1 movie except for Iron Man 2. Then, of course, Winter Soldier and possibly Infinity War.
