Everytime I plug my MP3 player in, my cursor freezes up. I unplug it, and it works fine. I was wondering what I could do to solve the problem, and if it might be related to the wireless mouse I bought recently.

Any help is appreciated.

And here I thought someone was complaining about me. :(

You probably have a conflict with your resources. Not really sure how to clear that up. Perhaps someone with better technical know-how could lay it down.

Sorry.

Does your wireless mouse run off of a USB dongle? I'm assuming that your MP3 player also uses a USB connection. Sounds like your system has trouble delegating USB resources to each separate device. You could try getting a USB mini-hub and seeing if various configurations of that dispell the issue.

I put my old mouse back in (Also works from a USB) and everything seems to work fine now.

Which is too bad. I was starting to enjoy the freedom of wireless.

There's an adapter you can get that will allow you to plug your USB mouse into your mouse port. I have one.
