What are the Movie Greatest Monsters - Giant Monsters?

For me, definitely Godzilla.

What a coincidence, I was watching the first Godzilla film just the other night for the first time (loved it by the way)

My favourite monster is the Gill-man from 'creature from the black lagoon' but my favourite huge monster is Godzilla.

I wish there were more European giant monsters films. You would think it would be one of the best continents for those kinds of stories but I can't find anything about them really in movies, books or even comic books!

That has always been one of my favorite Godzilla movies, mainly because it had one of his most creative and interesting enemies.

Godzilla
King Kong
Rodan
"Cloverfield"
Shelob
That thing Luke Skywalker fought at the beginning of ROTJ
The Stay-Puffed Marshmallow Man
The Rock Biter

The Kraken from Clash Of The Titans both versions.
King Kong
Godzilla
Does "The Blob" count as a giant movie monster?
The Kraken/Giant Octopus from Deep Rising.

Is there an inside joke I am missing? It sounds interesting
Not sure what you're missing?

I can't find anything about them really in movies, books or even comic books!

Oxford Dictinary Definition of dragon;
noun
1a mythical monster like a giant reptile. In European tradition.....etc.

If you're still missing something and you still cant find anything about them in books and/or movies?

Either you are just going to have to continue to ignore you did say that. Or you are just not looking hard enough.
