Movie Software.

Can anyone recommend any good movie makers? I also need to add thunder effects to my movie, any way I can do this or is there a movie maker that can add effect like these?

Adobe After Effects is good for digital effects, and either Final Cut or Premiere Pro for editing.

I went over to my local pc world store and bought these. But there for my b-day so I'll have to wait another few days.
