Is there nothing else but the iPod that is compatible with a Mac?

My old Mp3 is not compatible and I can't find a good one for a good price. All I need is 30 gigs...

This sucks.

How is everyone?

yeah, you have a mac, you're pretty much screwed...iNAZIs :cmad:

if by best you mean "easily breakable, and best at built in obselecence" then you're right :cmad:

Do you or anyone you know have a membership to Costco. You can get an iPod for a decent price there...
I'd buy one, but the urge to smash it into tiny pieces and post it on youtube is too tempting to spend $180 on.:o

Yeah, because that hasn't been done time and time again.

I hate Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. If there was a better alternative I would use it!

why does everyone hate apple so much?

I don't hate Mac's or Apple, but I hate the stuckup *******s that only use Mac's because they're "far superior" than a PC.

What the **** ever dude, unless you're doing heavy ****ing editing work, who gives a ****.

I use a mac, get an iPod, they're the best. They're better than your family and most of your friends combined. The iPod is like Jesus, except with the ability to sync up with iTunes.

It's interesting, though, because I usually see a whole lot of bashing of Macs and other Apple products from Windows Zombies even when no one is being smug or obnoxious about the fact that they use a Mac.

You hate people who want to use a far superior product? Um, o-kay.

I'm a filmmaker and a web designer. So guess I what? I use my Mac for heaving editing work. I guess I am exempt.

Now go download your virus protection.

Yeah. See, people like you piss me off. I've used both Mac's and PC's, and I happen to like PC's more. So what if they're able to be hacked easier, or they don't have the best programs to edit films on.

I don't give two ****s, because I'm not running around downloading all kinds of ******ed ****, and I'm sure as hell not making films.

Mac's are only "superior" because not as many people use them, therefore most hackers couldn't give two ****s less about it. Smart PC users know about a ton of the loopholes and security things that Windows has, and we deal just fine. I've had this computer for four years now, and never ONCE had a virus or any sort of Mal-ware on it.

I love turning on a PC and then having to wait five minutes before I can actually use it. Seeing that little hourglass hover over the desk top while these pop up ballons appear in the bottom right corner telling me things like I need to download this and that.

Turning on a Mac and being able to use it right away and not having to download crap for it since it was built right the first time really annoys me.

Macs aren't really superior to PC's. A computer is only as good as its OS and let's face it. Windows sucks.

Mac's are only "superior" because not as many people use them,

Okay, now I have to correct you, because that is wrong. The security model implemented in the FreeBSD kernel variant that Mac OS X (Darwin) is based on is inherently more secure than any Windows security model implementation by design. Macs are more secure than Windows BECAUSE they really are more secure from a technical perspective. There has been a lot of time spent by the Script Kiddies trying to figure out how to hack Macs, and they can't, much to their frustration (I lurk in some places they discuss these things and it chaps their asses to no end that they can't hack a Mac or come up with a viable trojan or virus for them). There have only been three proof of concept viruses ever developed for Mac OS X in seven years on the market and none of them are able to propagate themselves and are reliant on tricking the user into granting them access to the system in order to get on the system in the first place. And even those are unable to actually do anything once they manage to get on the system. There have been numerous "hack this out of the box Mac over the 'net and you can win it" contests and even some with some big prize money, to my knowledge, no one has ever succeeded. If you can sit down at the keyboard to a Mac or a PC, it's much easier to get into them (I can hack into my co-workers XP boxes in about 5 minutes if I can sit at the keyboard). But to say that Macs aren't getting hacked or having virii put on them because no one cares about them is an uneducated statement.
