Like I said in the Avengers movie thread when they posted her new look, she looks like she stole Bucky's suit he wore as Cap's teenage sidekick and added her sash and some buttons to it. Also her hair just doesn't suit her face with how she's drawn in the first couple of pics in this thread.

Say what you like about her last costume, call it exploitative or whatever, but she looked far more feminine and it had a far better sense of style.

Though seeing the recently posted pic of Ms. Marvel vs Moonstone (the Dark Ms. Marvel), I can't help but wonder how much better it might look if they meshed the look of the new costume with Moonstone's version of the costume. Keep the top (Moonstone's), extend it into a full body suit (like the new costume), get rid of the ridiculous buttons all over the boots and gloves, keep the colour scheme of Moonstone's costume (or replace the black with the new costumes darker blue) and keep the domino mask. That might work (I'd really love to see a mock up of it over one of the new costume pics).

Okay, Dodson actually managed to make her hair look good. Probably because he's the only one who doesn't make it look like she ran spooge through it like in that There's Something About Mary scene.

The costume is still kind of a jumbled mess, though. It's got a lot of stuff going on that just doesn't seem to work together at all. The yellow lines adjacent to the central starburst emblem, the very out-of-place sash, the weird studs on her gloves and boots that make her look like a Sgt. Pepper reject... I don't know.

It seems like Marvel can't get on the same page with her look. I'm just glad to see Spidey there because I'm the only person remotely interested in a Pete/Carol romance.

Yeah, you probably are. I don't even like Carol and I still see her and Peter together as her slumming it a bit.

I like it because it's new and different. They might as well take advantage of it before some editor decides he likes it better when Pete is living with his aunt, upstairs jerking off all day.

I prefer the Moonstone costume too. And Carol with Pete is a horrible idea, I'd rather see her with Iron Man.

Age ain't Nothing but a number,unless of course it's one being 16 and the other 80. That'd be weird.

I like the idea of carol and pete,they are kinda opposites attract.
As the captain marvel thing. Why they don't bring him or genis back I don't know. Tho the protector seems genis like.

She is older. I wouldnt say significantly though. I think it may be closer to 5-7 years. Of course she's also a bit more mature than him which might make the gap seem wider

That's one reason I don't like this costume so much. Everybody going to try to exaggerate that sash like it was Spawn's cape. It's impractical and ridiculous. If she said it were in memory of her friend, Corsair, I'd understand. But artists need to stop exaggerating it.
