MST3K Kickstarter

Wow! Man....truly one of my favorite shows of all time. Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic have been good, but I truly miss the old days of MST3K. I remember my buddy and I (watching with my father in the early days) just watching these on Saturday.

Joel just announced they made their minimum!! MST3K is back!!! So right now we will start with 3 episodes. If we get to the 3.3 million it will be 6 episodes and if they get around 5.5 million it will be 12 episodes to start out with!

Robot roll call!

Also it looks like Jonah Ray will be the new host

Yeah I saw that, interested to see how he does.

I have a feeling it's Netflix or bust. Online streaming is the best chance this show has at a comeback.

I dunno, I could also see maybe one of the premium channels as well, like HBO taking it. But it will depend on if they get the true goal of 12 episodes already bought and paid for. Which it seems to be on the track to do so.

We officially have a full season of 13 coming!

Actually 14 Joel said if they got to 6.3 and the end of the Telethon tonight they would do a 14th episode. They made it with a Minute to spear.

I am so filled with joy right now that I am literally on the verge of bursting.

I saw that! I missed the last part of the Telethon. One more episode? Yes please.

There's a Funny or Die video of the new Tom and Crow auditioning for Star Wars.

Word is the new season should hit Netflix sometime in April.

Also, you can now add Mystery Science Theater 3000 to your Watchlist on Netflix.

Tomorrow, people. We've got movie sign. :awesome:

Took a little bit to get used to the new voices, but it gets really good. MST3K is back!

Yeah, episode 1 was slow to get going. But episode 2 was just great. Although, it was greatly helped by the movie.

They get better it seems as they go along. At first you could tell they were a little new to this style of comedy, because a lot of times especially in the first film it felt like they were just reading off of the script as fast as they could. Where with the old MST3K they did a good job being spontaneous with the script reading to make it feel natural and as if they were making the joke on the fly.

But you can tell they started to get that and I find that it gets better and they start to come off more natural.

But so far I like it.
