I'm just watching to see if any wierd shenanigans happen maybe another Kanye/Taylor Swif incident, will Justin Bieber win best new artist award? will his voice crack? will he get laid?

As usual lots of music today is crap hopefully Katy Perry wears something hot.

Handler is a downgrade from Aziz but I'm hoping Kanye tells the Taylor Swift fans to go eff themselves and Beiber gets booed.

Honestly, I really have little desire in watching the VMAs (just like the past two MTV Movie Awards due to them becoming the "Twilight Appreciation Summit"). I'm beating a dead horse, but what is the point of holding an awards show that honors the best in music videos, when the network that's airing said videos doesn't bother airing videos at all now? It's as if MTV only continues to broadcast them out of tradition and because it's their biggest show of the year. The only thing looking forward to this year's so is to see the fallout from the whole Kanye West-Taylor Swift incident from last year.

I checked MTV's schedule for today in prelude to the VMAs. Instead of logically, airing a block of videos from the nominees in order to build up interest and anticipation for the show, MTV is instead planning a Jersey Shore marathon.

You know that your network has really decayed when Snooki and "The Situation" are the biggest personalities on your channel.
