wow, one who actually synch's up.

as much as I hate to say it though ... it just looks like they used the Phoenix eyes on her :(

Blacked out eyes aren't unique to Phoenix. I can think of dozens of times when blacked out lenses have been used for a character.

Hell, Sabretooth had blacked out eyes in the X-Movies alone before anybody else did. So Phoenix stole them off him I guess...

It seems to be one of the most popular trends these days in movies. I wouldn't be surprised if Apocalypse or Sinister got big black lenses.

Yeah they are gaining popularity. But I must admit, they do look cool so I can see why.

I imagine Apocalypse to have really white, cataracted eyes for some reason.

Is this George Takei (Sulu) from Star Trek???

Dark Willow from Buffy The Vampire Slayer got there first! :D

Some of those look like the people that I remember seeing with Magneto...

I was talking about who was the first to have black eyes in the X-Men movies.

And as for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dark Willow was not infact the first to have blacked out eyes. A whole number of characters did before her, the very first one being:

Catherine Madison

Among the rest who had blacked out eyes before Willow:

Thanks Retroman! You always find the coolest stuff.
No problemo.

BTW Those black eyes are scary. Reminds of that old Bone Thugs and Harmony video Crossroads.:(

Hmmm as far as I can tell, in terms of names, the only ones that have existed in the comic book are Quill(s), Callisto, Marina and Stone... but I'm guessing the other's names are similar to real characters but weren't given exact names because of having rights and whatnot... I'm not sure.

I like the movie adaptation of Marina though... it's too bad she couldn't have a nice cameo.

I think these are the comic bios for some of those mutant cameos.I've never heard of some of these.

Seer

Seer was the leader of a band of X'Changelings that promoted understanding and harmony between humans and the X'Changelings. His group battled a band of X'Changelings led by Simon Magnus until the Champions arrived and drove Magnus off. Thankful, the Seer agreed to aid Avalon by trying to locate Avalon's son via psychic means.

Seer had the ability of psionic project. He most likely had other psychic abilities like his counterpart, Professor X.

anyone think the one called "Scales" in Retro's 2nd post could have made a Movie style Artie...?

I think seer is made up,she has no connection to the comic one.So would you add marina, stone, ridge and diamond to the cameo list?
