My account keeps logging me out.....

My home computer is almost worthless, but unless i have my account on "remember me" it keeps logging me out, just wondering if it has happened to anyone else or is my computer just crap.....

yeah when I don't move around on these boards for awhile it logs me out.

My computer used to do that a lot, but it would log me out almost instantly. A lot of times I would sign in, go to post, and when I press the "post quick reply" at the bottom, it would take me back to the log in screen like I was never logged in.

I think it may have something to do with the browser you use because I switched mine and haven't had that sort of problem again.

That's how it's supposed to work, Crow. "Remember Me" keeps you logged in, and not checking it will log you out, that prevents others from using your account when you're not on it.

Yeah but i didnt think that w/o it on i would get logged out everytime i tried to post, no joke, It would keep me logged in untill i tried to post or reply, no matter how long it was between posts. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced that.

I think thats what it is. Same thing happened to me.

why dont you try to run a system restore.

I think its just the browser that I am using.
