In the past two weeks, I've downloaded Rebirth, Sinestro Corps War, Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis, Batman RIP, and all the dozens of tie-in series and tie-in regular title issues. I've read something like 200 books, with many hundreds to go. It's been a good 8 or 10 years since i was a regular reader due to finances. Rent and food and all. DC has gone effing crazy since I last looked in. Awesomesauce, but crazy. My brain hurts. This Blackest Night dealie better be worth it.

also, i'm pretty sure i'm reading it all crazy out of order, so that makes everything even harder to understand. Like 50 people are alive now that were dead when I was last reading. Superboy Prime a villain? Insanity.

Also, if anyone can recommend anything I need to read before Blackest Night, where it seems all of the DC books are coming to, please, let me know. I think I've got all the major bases, but one never knows. I feel like a fish out of water. I have a nearly 20,000 books dating till 2000 or so, when I stopped buying, and I don't really know, aside from the event books I mentioned, what I need to catch up to, besides buying every issue of every title(which I intend to do, eventually...i'm looking at you, comicon)...Am I missing anything important? I've Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis, Omac, Villains United, Day of Vengeance, Prelude, Return of Donna Troy, Batman RIP, Final Crisis, Rann/Thanagar War...Though I'm missing Revelations and Rage of the Red Lanterns, I think it's called? I wasn't sure about Countdown...I've heard it was crap on a cracker, so I'd like confirmation on that either way, worth it or not?

Teach me to spend 10 years away from comics just cause I gotta pay bills...
