My dog just died

i feel your pain man. we put my dog to sleep about a month ago. it really is like losing a member of your family. just hang in there, eventually things start to feel normal again. it always helps me to just go about the normal routine, keep your mind on other things.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.My dog died three years ago,and I was depressed for a month.

(My first official post, after watching the Hype for two years.)

My Dog passed away 3 weeks ago, she was 14 years old, had her since I moved to Poland (from England, I was 6). I know it hurts, it feels so terrible, but you must celebrate her life and not cry after her death, after all she gave you fantastic memories right?

RIP to your dog.

My regards, Demon's Head.

So, are you Ultra Lantern's friend, relative, significant other or are you just Ultra Lantern?

On the contrary. Its ok to cry.

Thanks, guys. She was 13 years old, so at least she had a full life.

She was such a beautiful labrador, and smarter than any dog I've ever seen.

I was asleep when it happened, and my parents woke me up. I cried harder than I did when my grandma died. :csad:

You're right, at least she led a full life. I remember one time when my parents called me from my friend's house across the street to tell me to come home because my dog died. I started crossing the street and there's my dead dog all splattered across the road from being run over by a car. They didn't scoop her up before they called me... who does that? Parents are evil.

I digress... my condolences.

Her name was Woffy.

Thanks. It was such a sudden blow. She was sick for the past few days, wouldn't eat, would hardly drink, and couldn't get up, but I went to bed desperately hoping that she'd shake it off in a couple of days, even though my gut told me her time was up. The I woke up a couple of hours later, and while I was still half-asleep, I was trying to hear her breathing, but I couldn't hear anything. Then I notice my parents sitting next to me. "Woffy passed away. She's not breathing."

I cried for hours, and I still can't look at her favorite spot without bursting into tears

Damn, that's terrible. They really do become family. Thoughts go out to you and yours.

i'm really sorry to hear that man :csad:

i know how it feels to lose a dog. they are another member of the family and it is tough when they pass on. my thoughts and prayers go out to you and those who loved your furball. it's amazing how one can get so attached to a dog. dogs are one of the very, if not only, animals on this planet that look out and care more for their owner than they do themselves. indeed they are man's best friend.

RIP

Sorry for your loss...Woffy looked like an awesome dog. :(
