Wow, kelvin seems thoroughly insufferable.
After reading his response I think I'm ready to make this happen and welcome him into my midst.
You are out of your mind. You're offering this guy a room in your house and he's making demands of you (high speed internet connection? Wtf?).
Don't put this burden on your parents. It's not your call.
Sounds like an ass to me. He demands stuff from someone asking to help him? No wonder no one close to him wants him around.FINALLY I got a text from Kelvin:
Quote:
Sometimes my life can be a bit on edge when things don't go my way. I would consider your offer if you can provide me with a completely furnished room that includes: a high speed internet connection (including WiFi), television (preferably FiOS), refrigerator, bed, overall comfortable living quarters and some more once I think of them. My options available to me aren't good, if I go back with my parents or my uncle they said I have to fill out job applications. Coral wants me to be her human lab rat. Viacom refuses to talk with me about Mr. Enter. So as you can see, none of these are viable options for me. I will consider staying with you if you pay for travel costs and provide me a fully furnished living space as detailed above.
Actually...it sounds absolutely like Kelvin is to blame for his situation....he needs to take responsibility for his actions and get the treatment that others have most likely recommended. You sound like an enabler...him a taker....that is the road to ruin.Kelvin is not to blame for the situation he's currently in. I blame the following people:
- Kelvin's parents for not continuing to provide for him.
- his abusive uncle for threatening him.
- Viacom for shutting down MrEnter's Youtube channel for petty reasons.
- Coral for being a psychopath, whether she is a cult leader or not.
- the lights that have been bothering Kelvin, whatever their origin are.
He's just saying what his conditions are should he choose to accept my offer. How is that being an ass?Sounds like an ass to me. He demands stuff from someone asking to help him? No wonder no one close to him wants him around.
Yeah, invite someone to your house and they make demands of you to pay for new things for them on top of housing and food. Sounds like a great friend not using you at all.
Would you stay at someone's house if they didn't have TV or internet. I know I wouldn't. Neither would Kelvin or anyone.

I'd kiss the path they walk on if I was desperate and they offered me shelter.
I know this is a desperate situation, but, knowing that, like I said he has autism and he's being threatened by his uncle and being chased by GOD knows what...then I'm inclined to make his stay has comfortable as possible with all the luxuries that he's used to.
I thought his uncle was abusive. How nice that he still enjoys luxury items.
I meant when he was staying with his parents. He has a phone with internet, but that's about it. He's said before his phone is his life chord.

So let me get this straight. On top of current expenses, you expect your parents to pay for FiOS, his cell phone bill, possibly upgrading your internet and room and board for him? Do you see the problem here?
