So the Infamous is one of my favorite game franchises and I've been thinking about how it would be adapted on film (cause honestly, Hollywood will eventually make one, it's inevitable). So I've come up with a trilogy of my own and a way that the games can be correctly portrayed on film:
Infamous (The 1st Film)
Mini-Villains: Sasha and Aiden Tate
Main Villain: Kessler
Plot: Cole McGrath is your normal everyday bike carrier, when one day, he carries a package that explodes and destorys a good portion of Empire City, killing hundreds. When he walks up he discovers he has eletric superpowers to the shock of his best friend Zeke and former girlfriend Trish. As Cole's powers grow, he soon begins asking questions about how the Ray Sphere go into his hands and how he got his powers in the first place. While Zeke wants Cole to embrace the fun of his powers, Trish wants Cole to finally take some reponsiblity. As Cole become torn as to whether he should use his powers for good or for evil, he's mission for the truth leads him through a deadly adventure around Empire City, which is now controlled by 3 factions: The Reapers, the Dust Men and the First Sons, who are lead by the mysterious Kessler. Cole must fight his way through the various other powerful conduits throughout the city to unlocked the truth about Kessler, a truth that will end in a gruesome battle and a revelation more shocking than even Cole's powers.
Infamous 2 (The 2nd Film)
Main Villain: Joseph Bertrand
Plot: After killing Kessler and finding out horrifying truth of who he is, Cole and Zeke prepare to leave Empire City with Lucy Kuo, a special agent sent to Cole to help him track down the Beast, a powerful conduit Cole is destinied to face. As they cast off from the city, The Beast rises and attacks Empire City. Cole fights the Beast but is severly weaken from the fight and Empire City is completely destroyed. Once at New Maris, Cole recovers but must find Dr. Wolfe, a doctor who worked on the creation of the Ray Sphere with the First Sons and Kessler, in hopes of becoming more powerful to fight the Beast. Once he finds Wolfe, he gives Cole the RFI, an anti-Ray Sphere that has the power to strip the Beast of it's powers. But the only way to power it up is to abosrb Blast Cores, powerful fragments to power up the RFI but have been stolen and shattered around the city by the Militia, an anti-conduit fire squad who terrorize the city of New Maris and are lead by Joseph Bertrand. During a major fight between Cole and Militia, Wolfe is killed and Kuo is taken. While tracking her down, Cole runs into Nix, a fire/oil conduit with a dark past and brings out a little of Cole's dark side. When Cole finds Kuo, she has been transformed into an Ice conduit. Teaching Kuo how to use her powers and joining up with The Rebels lead by Rosco Laroche, Cole uncovers the truth about Betrand and his plot to eradicate all conduits while looking like a saint into the process, leading to a major fight where Betrande transforms into a 50 foot monster. After Betrand's death, Cole tracks down the escaped Ice soliders and runs into John Smith, an old friend of his from Empire City who has returned as a conduit. When John shows him a plague ward in th city, he heals a girl and reveals he is the Beast. After the blast, the girl thanks a shocked Cole and flies off. To be continued....
Infamous 3 (The Final Film)
Mini-Villains: Evil Cole, Sarah
Main Villain: The Beast
Plot: After witnessing Thea Beast's reveal, Cole goes back to Kuo and Zeke to reveal the news. Meanwhile, John is teaching the new coduit he healed, Sarah, how to use her new powers. Which include thought projection and mind control once she masters it, John plans to use her for his next plan. The Rebels soon contacts Cole and the others about a the last Blast Core that they saw taken by one of the Ice soldiers. When Cole tracks them down, he finds John there. John reveals to Cole his plan to start a new race of conduits and wants Cole to join him. But when Cole refuses, Sarah appears and uses her powers to turn him into a darker version of himself with red lightning powers. When Cole goes missing, Kuo and Zeke ask for Nix's help to find him. Meanwhile, John and Evil Cole gain control of all the Ice soliders when Nix spots them. When they realize it's the Beast, they tell her to get out of there. Sarah tries to use her powers on Nix but she gets away. When John finds out, he tells Cole to lead the Ice Soliders to the Rebels' hide out as well as Zeke's hideout. When Nix returns to Zeke and Kuo, they are shocked to find out that Cole has joined with the Beast. Soon Evil Cole arrives to destory the RFI and three way fight between Kuo, Nix and Cole erupts. When Nix and Kuo are defeated, Cole is about to destroy the RFI when Zeke intervenes. The sight of Zeke hurt causes Cole to stap out of his mind control and transforms back to normal. Meanwhile, the Ice soldiers have taken all the Blast Cores and created an Ice Tower in the far reaches of the town. John orders them to kill anyone who comes near the tower while he regenerates at the power plant in the city. While apologizing to Zeke, Cole realizes he has been hit by the plague and must power the RFI to save his life. During a thunderstorm, an overcharged Cole fights his way through hordes of Ice Soliders to get to the cores. Meanwhile, John tries to get Nix to join him but Nix rejects his offer and Joh teaches her a lesson by killing all of her swamp monsters. When Cole brings back the cores and powers up the RFI, everyone comes to the conclusion that the RFI will kill all conduits and cure everyone of the plague. When Cole is forced to make a decision he chooses, he chooses to stop the Beast with the RFI. Kuo goes off to join John as he begins to attack the city and kills The Rebels ships one by one. During his fight wih the Beast, Kuo protects him but is defeated by Cole. Nix sacrifices herself leaving Cole enough time to power up the RFI and turns it on....saving the world.
