I bought it the day it came out, played around for a while, got annoyed with the controls for moving and driving, took it out and put another game in.

I'll give it a spin again once I decide to get patient with ****ty handling

The handling for walking is still kinda wonky. In real life when I'm turning I don't lean to one side. The vehicle handling is ok, depending on the car. I like the handling in the sporty cars and convertible (I think it's a Havana or something).

So I take back my comment about ****ty handling. It's picky and does take time to get used to, but is just a minor gripe I have about the game.

But you are a Saints Row fan, correct? Or at least that's what I got from your comments in the SR2 thread. That game takes just as much "skill" as the GTA games. It's also a blatant knockoff of the GTA games, so...yeah.

How is GTA IV good? It is actually a down grade from San Andreas. There is barely anything new, or original in the game.

Just because it took out features (Features which were ridiculous and a waste of space) doesn't mean it downgraded. It improved upon everything and made an incredibly tighter game.

WOW...just wow.

I am actually playing GTA IV right now. My local Library has a system set up.

I do like how they set up the clothing store. It feels much more like you are shopping, & Bowling is pretty fun. I also like how you can actually out run the cops this time. I don't know it is getting better as I get deeper in to the game.
