Plot
Dr. Connors finally turns into the Lizard...Lizard has two great battles with Spidey (one in the sewers that leads up on the streets, and another that starts in Central Park and ends in the sewers by the docks), before Peter and Gwen Stacy develop a cure for Dr. Connors, and it somewhat helps him. While coming back to work, Connors finds some of Spidey's blood on his jacket and uses it with something he's been also working on for a while, the symbiote Peter gave him...he uses that blood sample and his own DNA to try to expand the symbiote, but it grows into a black and red stain that soon breaks out and crawls out of the window, attacking everything it sees....
Also with a side plot featuring Cletus Kasady, and he gets put in prison, but then breaks out, and around the hour and fifty minute mark, Cletus finds this new and improved symbiote which bonds and turns him into Carnage, a creature even more powerful than Venom.
As to the Lizard, who captures both Gwen and MJ earlier in the movie, Carnage, as to Venom, just wants to destroy Peter and calls him out from his balcony, with a huge fight in the air and with Carnage running away, leading Spider-Man to his hideout, a place full of explosives...Dr. Connors finds this out from the news and turns back into Lizard by his own will, to destroy something he created...
At Kasady's place, a massive battle goes on, with a bloody Spidey as he cannot take anymore punishment form Carnage, and as Carnage morphs his hand into an axe, Lizard saves Spidey from a near death experience and starts to brawl with the black and red creature...Peter finds out a way to destroy the symbiote, by activating all the explosives and does so, but while he tries to get both Kasady and Dr. Connors out, some officers, with Captain Stacy barges in and leaves Spidey to rescue them, while the bombs go off, apparently killing the symbiote, Cletus Kasady and Dr. Connors.
But it doesn't kill Dr. Connors...
He struggles out, dropping a dead Kasady on the ground as he pursues on, bleeding internally, but still alive as he struggles on, trying to recieve help.
At the end, Peter informs MJ of all what happened recently and as the moment ends, Peter drops the question of "Will you marry me?" as it fades to black.
