About two weeks ago I turned my TV on (which took about 32 seconds to power up) and it was green. Every channel , playing games and watching DVDs feels like I'm watching the Matrix. i've tried several remedies (played with the picture/color controls, unplugged my TV for several minutes, left it off for several days) but nothing seems to change the image quality. It's a 42" Widescreen Phillips and I've only had it for about 4/5 years.

What do I do? Is my TV gone and do I have to buy another one?

make sure your component cables are connected properly. If you're using components anyway, but it sounds like it is dieing

Make sure you don't have any magnets close to the screen in the past/present/future and that includes speakers as they have magnets in them.

WAIT...are you serious???...I have had three of my surround speakers on my tv for the last year. Please don't tell me that I did this to myself.

Once I take them down (like NOW), will my tv ever return to normal (please say yes)??

^Pretty much no. There are magnetized gases inside the TV and speakers and other heavy duty magnetic systems **** 'em up somethin' bad. :csad:
