Mystic Arcana: The Magical Makeover

Brother Voodoo? As Sorcerer Supreme? The fact that he sucks wouldn't make that seem odd to you?

Baron Mordo should finally get to be Sorcerer Supreme. Then we can get Brian Vaughan to write another mini-series where Strange reclaims the title by being awesome.

Mordo apparently DID reform, but all he knows is black magic, which would kill him. Again.

Voodoo is pretty powerful (not exactly Strange powerful), but he's the only one I could see currently existing that wouldn't basically be the evil Sorcerer Supreme type, that possibly could bear the mantle. Everybody else is inept as hell in magic pretty much.

Mordo would be good if he knew more white magic that aligned well with the Vishanti.

If Doom had that Hazarath (sp?) upgrade, it unfortunately would be him. Fortunately, he doesn't have it anymore.

Loki needs to come back and be Sorcerer Supreme. His magic's not inherently evil, it's rune magic. He generates his own magical energy, as well, so he's not gonna be bugging the Vishanti for **** all the time like Strange.

Is the Sanctum Sanctorum the Sorcerer Supreme's digs? I thought that was just where Steve-O lived. Loki would probably just stick to his hall in Asgard. Of course, now that Asgard is basically Gondor from Lord of the Rings, I don't know where the hell he's gonna live.

Eh, the damage is done. I really only liked her in Avengers, and her Avengers are dead and gone and will remain so as long as MA and NA sell so well, so no big loss for me.

Anyway, the Black Knight issue was good but Mystic Arcana as a whole has been underwhelming so far. The mysterious omission of characters who should be pretty goddamn important to the mystical landscape is bugging me and I still don't really have any idea where Sexton is going with all this tarot stuff.

That said, Jeff Parker's writing MA: Scarlet Witch, so I'm there.
