Not surprised. They like blowing stuff up and destroying things, but only the stuff that's SUPPOSED to go kablooey. It is never fun when something goes wrong like that.

I bet Mythbusters is insured up the wazoo though, so they should be good on that end. They're probably thanking numerous deities that no one was hurt!

I wouldn't repair the hole. I'd ask for one of those metal plates that said BUSTED and put that over it.
