Gee, that's really nice of them. I wonder if the kids actually had any martial arts training, or if they just owned a bunch of "ninja" weapons because they were cool? And I can't help but picture that Indiana Jones scene where Indiana casually shoots the crazy muslim with the sword.

By the way, the right to bear arms? Why would the kids get arrested for bearing arms?

seriously! those kids are damn lucky the cops caught them before they had a chance to confront anyone.

some people live in a fantasy world of ******** of their own devising, at least they were lucky
can anyone imagine what would have happened if they had gone all the way through?

In certain states, particular weapons are illegal or considered concealed weapons, so if you take them out in public you'll get busted.

Nunchuku were considered concealed weapons when I was in high school in Florida, so we Ninja-Turtle wannabes had to be careful where we took our 'chuks. Although I always wondered how 2 heavy wooden clubs linked by a chain could really be "concealed" that well, but whatever.

I misread this title as Ninja Drug Vampires.

Not having a previous record, and the cops claiming the kids just made a bad mistake, I'm sure they'll get the minimum sentence. But who knows, the judge may give them less time...6 months in jail, and 5 years probation.

So they are considered concealed even if you have them hanging on your head and you wear a big sign saying "I have ninchucks!?" Concealed versus unconsealed confuses me. I read a book (the Cryptonomicon) where this group in Cali walked around with guns and swords out in full veiw to demonstrate the silliness of the concealed weapons law. They could hurt people almost just as easily as if the weapons were concealed.

Wow that second guy has a pretty ****ed up name.

I like the reason he gives for bringing the weapons, so they can look as ninja-y as possible. I thought the point of being a ninja was that no one was going to see you until it was too late?
