(forgive me if this thread already exists, couldn't find it in the search function. If it already exists, feel free to merge this with it).

Pretty simple, just describe the origin behind your screenname. Mine comes from The Punisher, my favorite comic book character. I initially wanted to register as just The Punisher, but that was already taken, so I came up with a bunch of related names and registered with Punisher Lives, but never got the activation e-mail for that or may have deleted it by mistake. So I registered yet again with Punisher Rising, which I thought had a neat ring to it. So there you go. Looking back I kind of wish I had registered with something slightly different, but I guess I can't alter my name.

Werewolfs rule, and I was watching PR:Wild Force and some dude was a Wolf type ranger called Lunar Wolf.

I remember a thread like this a few years ago. Well, I guess a lot know the origin of mine.

I wrote down directions to a radio station for Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) and he said my handwriting was Chicken Scratch so I took the name.

I went to one of those psychics that can tell you about your past lives, and it turns out I was one of the three wisemen that went to give baby Jesus gifts when he was born, I gave him frankincense........hence, I am the Wiseman

It's the alter-ego of the Golden Age Sandman.
He's one of my favourite comic book characters and seriously under-rated.
There are probably cooler or funnier usernames i could've picked but if you ask me, it's lack of snappiness is more than made up for by it's esoteric appeal.

I was born in 1985, and Schlosser is the original version of my mother's maiden name.

Arya is my first name. Fairly simple.

The time has come, to talk of many things: Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--Of cabbages--and kings-- And why the sea is boiling hot--And whether pigs have wings. I see you are never very sure but here's a clue for you all: The Walrus was Paul.

Still not sure, it's probably your clearance level, after all the actual reason for my name is...

Aesop Rock is my favorite rapper so I added an 's' to Rock to make Rocks which mean he's awesome.

( he is awesome :o )

I used to rap under this name pronounced Eclipse. Pretty simple been going by it sine i was like 14. Theres actually another person from Doomsday Productions who has the same name but I didnt know that and its spelled different so he can suck it. I dont rap anymore though and dont know how to change it cuz Ive tried

Kane is my fav wrestler and 5263 on a phone translates to K a n e and 0 is o which is my nick name Omar

Since I started in these forums in the Dark Knight thread, I figured a name that bears a semblance to "Batusi" would suffice (kudos to anyone familiar with the name).

yea i know lol, i came up with it years ago

A little convoluted if you ask me...but.... well done

I smoke the Red ones and wanted my name to sound superhero-y.

I thought this would be about where our real first names come from. :(
My screenname comes from the character that started off the Civil War by being a little *****e and forcing his teammates to attack supervillains.

"The Guard" was a fictional vigilante I created, who took down sex slavery rings. Sort of Batman meets The Punisher. I got the idea after watching 8MM and taking lots of psychology courses. It was a lame attempt to present a more realistic version of vigilantism. That's essentially what got me into writing.

Several years later, I originated the role of "The Guard" (no, I had nothing to do with the conception of it), an 1800's, half-crazed insane asylum guard who prostituted his female inmates in a student produced musical called MELANCHOLIA: A MUSICAL MACABRE that offended about half our town. I had THE coolest hat ever. Think Heath Ledger's Joker meets any character Johnny Depp has ever played, but who prositutes and gropes college women. Yeah.

I feel the name has earned its place.

Here is a terribly lit "publicity photo" none of us wanted to pose for. The actual show was much darker, incredibly violent and sexy, and yes, laden with foppish dancing.
