No they don't. Most bigs assume curry will miss that floating layup and let him take it. Last night noah should have bowled right over curry. Just get physical
How many Warriors games do you watch? So what do you think, all 29 other teams are stupid? I get the old pros being jealous that the Warriors and wanting to protect their turf, but it is pure BS. Curry at the end of the Clippers get got nailed in the head on a layup. He didn't cry, he didn't get upset, you know what he did? He started getting hyped on the floor because he knew he had two FTs and he is money from the line.

Also, why would anyone want to encourage Curry to just shoot threes? Fine, Curry doesn't drive anymore. Instead he goes 50% from the 3-point line. Yeah, great strategy. :funny:

We'll see LBJ is the best in the game and in a seven game series with Love and Irving I'm taking LeBron. Especially when curry has to play defense against irving and when irving on one leg outplayed him game 1 just a mere 5 months ago. Give me cavs in 6
Yes, because your avatar suggest purely objective pick here. :hehe:

By the way, Curry is even better then he was 5 months ago. Plus, he now has a ring, and the confidence that goes with it.

Knicks with back to back road wins tonight. Yeah there was no Durant last night and this Rockets team is nothing short of dysfunctional but this team Jackson put together is a squad of workers. Porzingis played terrific tonight.

Be interesting to see if the Knicks will hold up or fold as usual. They could be a 7th or 8th seed in the playoffs.

Lol Cavs will not be playing GS in the Finals but the Spurs. And Kyrie cannot stay healthy and Love is a average player now who is still soft. LBJ is great but as proven multiple times before he cannot do it himself and his role players while good are not that good. Cavs dominate the east playoffs maybe but finals they getting dominated by the Spurs in 6.:woot::sly:

Every time someone accuses the Spurs of being too old, they win.

These Warriors can force the Spurs to play at their pace, and the Spurs don't have a PG to compete. If the Spurs actually get to play the Warriors this season, and both teams are healthy, I'd have the Warriors in 5.

The Knicks might be watchable this season so it's a step in the right direction.

The way they're playing, 72-10 has gotta be as much a goal for them as another championship.

They are watchable. They've been in every game down to the wire except for one blowout loss from Milwaukee.

If Cavs had any self respect they'd suspend him and fine him. This is ridiculous.

He's always lacked something in the leadership department. I get he's got a lot of pride and is hard on himself and his team for their performance but they were up nearly 30 there, not losing by 30. He's got to chill the F out.

Any competitor will tell you if you go 82-0 and don't win the season the the year was a failure. If I was their fan, I'd want another ring not a pointless regular season record.

The thing is that they are not really pressing as far as I can tell. If they had their foot down on the gas, I'd be worried about guys getting tired by the end of the year. They're just playing their game right now and no one can really beat them.

I know you didn't imply it, but no one said they were pressing. If I was a Warriors fan, I would want a championship more than single season game record. I think they'll beat it though. Probably lose 8 games.

No, I agree with you. My point is that they are just doing their thing and are rolling right through people. You're right though, a 70 win season won't mean squat if they lose to the Spurs in the WCF.

If the Warriors are good enough to win 70+ games, no one is beating them in the playoffs. If they are that good no one in the NBA will be on that level. What about the Spurs or Cavs makes anyone think they would be able to beat one of the best teams the league has ever seen?

Possessions slow down in the playoffs. LeBron showed that last finals, but was too short handed to score on possessions. The game is slowed down which benefits a team like the Cavs if fully healthy. Plus if healthy and the desperation LeBron is facing I'd take LeBron over Curry.

LeBron is never going to be truly healthy at his age and minutes. He is always beat up. Kyrie gets hurt all the time, and playing really playoff minutes isn't going to help him. Love does not understand what playoff wars are like.

Teams try and slow the Warriors down, but they always find ways to speed the game back up, they did it last year in the playoffs. They also play the best defense in basketball, which so many like to forget while trying to downplay their dominance.

The only thing that could stop the Warriors this season is injuries.

Did you see who the Cavs roster was? Delly was starting. Tristan was starting. Two starters were out. Two all star players were out. Shump was hurt. The fact that the Cavs were up 2-1 shows LeBron isn't worried about GS. If we have both Kyrie and Love. cavs in 6.

You do realize the Warriors are better and LeBron is a whole playoff older right? You keep hanging onto losing the finals last year "closely". The Heat actually beat the Spurs before they got trucked the next season by the same team. LeBron is great, but the Warriors are younger, hungrier and better.

As I said back in June, defensively speaking, having Delly and Tristan was a better matchup on that end of the floor than Kyrie and Love would've been.

That being said, just slowing the game down in general, eating the clock and using size in the paint is really the only kryptonite for GS. Memphis had some success with it and LeBron showed he was able to do that being the lone offensive focal point.

On the flipside, Kyrie & Love, just naturally, would create a faster pace regardless of what LeBron tries to do. If Kyrie has a look, he's going to take it, period. I don't think he would play a strategic game if he feels he has an opportunity to score, but I could be wrong. And IMO, that faster pace is just something nobody can do better than GS right now.

With the Lakers not being a playoff team, this could be Kobe's last meaningful game. Would love for him to have a big night and pull out the upset.

Watching the Lakers right now is pretty painful. They getting slaughtered out there...
