I finally watched Life though, pretty damn good show. I didn't know what was going on, but I was on the edge of my seat.

"Life" is equally as good in my eyes as "Journeyman". The only new NBC show I wouldn't care about being cancelled is "Bionic Woman".

You need to watch the whole season of "Life". Besides the "crime of the week" stories, his search for the real killer takes on a life of its own. Almost like it's its own serial show.

Last week they said Journeyman would be back in TWO weeks. It'll back on Monday, and then Wednesday of next week.

You need to watch the whole season of Journeyman too. I hate how so many good shows are always on a huge uphill battle to regain viewers who just ditched it after a less-than-amazing pilot. Give it a chance to establish its identity, for crying out loud.

Promise? It's already a great show. It quickly set it's own mood/tone from the start. They obviously had a clear idea of how they wanted the show to feel and succeeded. It would be a shame if it gets cancelled. Though again, with the lack of audience and the timeslot I'm nervous

I had to double-check my DVR to make sure - and sure enough, it won't be on on Wednesday. It was showing as being recorded this Wednesday last week though.

Oh well. At least it seems to be holding steady.

Always on at 10 pm timeslot is giving it a chance? Uhhh... Anyways didn't 24 struggle with ratings a bit at first. I may be mistaken. Seems like I remember that though.

WRONG! Fox gives new shows at least 3 or 4 episodes to prove themselves.

Jourany man came on yester day. it was christmas espidoes. They said it coming back on next mondaya. I'm glade they didn't cut it off.

Is next week the finale? They didn't even show a preview for next ep, first of all, and when a show ends for the season, the network usually advertising it as being the season finale, but in Journeyman's case it didn't.

Life is almost better as a show because they didnt drag out who the killer was over 3 seasons. Journey man has the greatest theme song btw

I didn't see this posted. EW has a story about the fate of Journeyman. Looks like a long strike might be the only way to save the show. Unfortunately.

Good news for Journeyman fans: Concerned that his struggling NBC drama won't be returning in 2008 (the show’s viewership is averaging an anemic 7.3 million), creator Kevin Falls made sure episodes 11 and 12 (airing Dec. 17 and 19) would address Dan Vasser's (Kevin McKidd) inexplicable ability to time travel. Those episodes, which fulfill the network's order, expand on Elliot Langley's (Tom Everett) experimentation on quantum leaping and introduce Dan to a fellow time tourist, who he finds in an insane asylum. “We felt like we started to see the handwriting on the wall, between the ratings and the writers strike, so we recalibrated how we would break the last few episodes," explains Falls. "We do answer quite a few questions so fans will get a feeling of closure.”

Had the show gone for a full season, Falls might have taken all the people that Dan and Livia (Moon Bloodgood) saved this season and turned them into some "Rube Goldberg device for season's end," he says. "All these people would come into play, not so much to save the world, but their stories all culminate into a bigger-picture climax."

But is he sure he'll never get that chance? NBC hasn’t officially canceled Journeyman and, in fact, there's a remote chance it could get a second season pickup if the strike continues through the spring, when the town is usually developing pilots for the next TV season. "If there is scorched earth and there are no pilots, then that’s a whole different thing," admits Falls. "There is probably a better than average chance that we would come back. But nobody wants that. I would throw my show on the sword if this strike would end beforehand. Too many people suffer from a long strike.”
