Oh and who else gets the feeling that when Livia and Dan were saying good bye at the end of the episode it was more for the fans than for themselves? "I have a feeling it's going to be a while." *long hug* That's the feeling I got anyway.

really there was little to nothing wrong with the show...i just assume the american public don;t have the attention span to sit down and watch a tv show unfold and then close over the hour anymore

Oh, they do. They just don't have the attention span to watch a really good but fairly decompressed story unfold over a season anymore. The numbers for Journeyman started out relatively strong, then it just trailed off with the occasional bump here or there. None of those bumps in numbers were big enough, though.

Yeah, the American viewership is composed primarily of ******s and chimps, I believe. Very, very few shows that are really, genuinely good succeed and limp along for a few seasons, let alone become massive sensations with truly solid, consistent ratings. We live in the age of schlock game shows and reality TV.

Soooooooooooooo much more! It really was a great show. I loved the intro music and that foggy san francisco. Brilliant, I gotta get the theme song to remember the show by.

I was hoping that the show would catch on to some fans watching Heroes. Apparently that **** failed.

I guess if Dan had some kind of a catch phrase, people would be all over him. Let's see, Hiro has that "I did it!" in Japanese. Sam Beckett from Quantum Leap had "Oh, Boy". Dan would be ... we'll never find out since it's canceled.

I think everyone thought viewership would jump from Heros to Journeyman.I think that should have happened,but i think there is indeed some dumb viewership somewhere.

A look at several reality/competition/******ed 'game' shows' ratings will probably attest to the latter. I almost hope the writers' strike continues through most of next year so that networks have no choice but to replace all of their scripted programming with those ****piles and the lowest common denominator that is the American TV-watching populace finally overloads on those shows and realizes how craptastic they all are.

I suppose there is no good taste in people watching,or they don't have enough paitence to see a show through and through.

It is hard for me to fathom Chuck being picked up for another season but not Journeyman. Actually that makes me wanna throw up.

It is absolutely ridiculous that a show like gossip girl and reality shows like tila tequila are what is capturing the attention of todays society. It pains me to know that these are the same simpletons that will decide Americas next president. God (or whom ever your deity is) help us.

This is the best written drama next to Lost I've seen in years.

I'M a Quantum Leap fan, and I can say that Journeyman is 10X deeper than QL ever was.
