This just hit me... I hope we get a Ressler vs Tom moment.

I always imagined the final scene in season 1 will be Tom killing Ressler or even that CIA chick (this was before this past mondays big reveal about Tom) thus proving how big a threat Tom really is.

See... I actually think the sacrificial lamb is [BLACKOUT]Tom himself. Either Red kills him to protect Liz or he dies in Liz' arms due to his handlers or Red's enemies, probably all while trying to save Liz.[/BLACKOUT]

Yeah I can totally see that happening.

I can see that happening too.. They're clearly setting up Liz & ressler too I believe

Rachel Brosnahan is hot! I want more scenes with her or she needs to star in her own show. She reminds me a little of Jennifer Love Hewitt when she smiles.

This show is awesome.

I can't wait for Lizzie to find out that
Tom is shady and Reddington was right

Loved last nights episode, probably the best of the season. I really hope Tom survives past the first season he is too good of a character to just have in the first season, also I'm glad he acknowledged that he purposely wanted to get into the ''Post Office'' so he could case out the joint, I always thought he was way too willing to go with Liz to her work to be questioned.

Also could this be Toms real identity ? (going by the conversation that him and Jolene both had it seems that they are both working for German intelligence).

.

The only problem I have with this show how blatantly obvious they want agent Ressler and Liz to have some romantic relationship, it just seemed to convienient that in the same episode Ressler's girlfriend dies, Tom finally reveals who he really is.

They seem perfect for one another. She always gets held hostage, he always gets shot or clubbed over the back of the head into unconsciousness. :hehe:

I still don't understand why Red went to such lengths to find Jolene. Tom is one cold bastard! :wow:

Best episode since the Die Hard ep IMO. Red sends the most thoughtful gifts! :wow: I loved the scene with Red and Ressler out in the snow where red tried to warn him about the revenge path.

Lance Reddick is awesome so I was sad to see him go, but this ep really did a great job of turning Tom into a whole new character.

I thought it was interesting that Tom coldly referred to Liz as Keane when him and Jolene were looking at his info board, but then later he called her his wife when he wanted Jolene to call her, I wonder if there is going to be some conflict there. I also thought it was interesting that Apple man has no link to Tom, so we have 3 groups in play.

Did anyone make out what was on the program Red was holding while he watched the young Ballet dancer?

Agreed on all points, I remember us having that theory about him scoping out Liz's workplace back when it happened. :highfive:

I was wondering about them saying they worked for Berlin, it could be German intelligence or it could be a group or a person, given this shows style I doubt it's straight forward.

I know most of these shows have one of those "ships" but I don't see any chemistry at all with the two actors, going there would force it and isn't needed as the key relationship is Lizzie and Red.

Now that was a shame that Jolene had to die. She was nice eye candy. I liked her better before though when she was just a flirt at work whom Tom might have an affair with.

Just finished the episode...

The program Red held was for a ballet recital dated 1987 if anyone was asking. The ballerina gossip was about how Red's daughter was a dancer. Hmmm...

Somehow Red is aware that Tom had the connection through who he works for to Jolene, which is why he was looking for her, so I guess that wraps up why he was looking for her but not the HOW. How did he know Jolene was working for the people behind Tom, when Tom himself was unaware?

Sad to see the cowboy manhunter go. He was cool. Is Tom all business though? Did he kill Jolene for "the mission" or for Liz? I think it's great that even with some big cards on the table we still can't be 100% sure about Tom's inner workings.

This episode's story was by Joe Carnahan, and I have to say, his involvement in any given episode seems to guarentee a good show. Things were pretty intense for Ressler. I must say though, I don't se, the inevitable hook-up between Liz and Ressler others do. Just my two cents.

Man, Master Splinter's voice actor is formidable looking! I was sad we won't get a return.

I think "Berlin" is a swerve as well. So far nothing is too straight forward on this show. Even the Liz/Red connection is still up in the air.

In the ongoing mysteries of the show how many groups are we looking at?

Red's various contacts, henchmen and allies.

The people behind "Apple Jack"(Who had an Anglophone accent btw).

The in goverment group that Alan Alda is a part of, and which Red had some kind of past association with.

And now... The Berlin group which Tom is working for.

And we've yet to meet "The Adversary" as well.

If anyone thinks that's off, please correct me. It's possible some of these groups are one in the same, or will be revealed to be the same in the future, but perhaps I've misinterpreted some things. Still that's what I think so far.

Thanks man. I guess the point of that was to show the viewer that Red telling Ressler that he understands loss was not merely a case of hollow words.

I'm pretty sure these are all in the same group.

Damn it, Tom. Why'd you have to go kill those two off? Cowboy was cool. Jolene was Red's daughter. There's no denying that with the way he kept bringing up Red and the way she reacted. I hope Red sends his head in a box to Liz with an "I you told so" note.

High fives for everyone who called that Tom volunteering to go to the black site was just so he can case the place out.

Not sure which Tom is legit. I was leaning towards a theory that he actually fell in love with the target, ditched the assignment and is now set on protecting her. But all that talk to Jolene & his bat cave has me thinking otherwise.

Sucks for Ressler. I thought Audrey coming back into his life was a ploy from another villain. Seems she was legit. Just a means to push Ressler into Red's world should something tragic happen.

Ressler + Liz = I kind of see it.

I was also wondering if Jolene was Reds daughter, but during the same time I was also thinking that Liz could be his daughter, and then the whole idea reminded me too much the whole Dexter/Ice Truck killer storyline from Dexter season 1 ( I do now no longer believe that Liz is Reds daughter)

I still think a part of him does genuinely care for Liz ,Im willing to bet that if he had a choice between putting a bullet in Liz's head or his lovers head Gina Zanetakos he would put one in Gina's head.

Jolene as Red's daughter? I never got that sense. I am sad that she's gone though, because she was nice to look at. Tom should have just killed the cowboy. Is he planning to kill Lizzie as well?

If that is Red's daughter, then I hope Red kills him off at some point and gets his revenge. Liz might not like it, but hopefully she'll discover that Tom is dirty. Next week seems to be hinting at that. It's not the season finale is it? The preview makes it almost look like it is.

Season Finale, fight to the death between Liz and Tom...

Liz kills him or it's not as dramatic as it could be for me.

Nice to see Hoon Lee from Banshee in this great episode.

I don't think they'll kill Tom off this season, unless the plan is for him to simply be a cold blooded agent that never had feelings for Liz.

Ive noticed Ryan Eggold (Tom) is in some new usual crappy Tyler Perry film,so I'm thinking unless he wants to focus more on a film career, I just don't think they gonna kill him off soon.
