Actually, It was 5:35 in the morning and just got home from work. Close the bar at 3:00, paperwork until 4:00, drink until 5:00, and there you go.

As i said, it takes alot of imagination to see what the final product will be at this point but from these shots you can see that it is starting to take shape. The finished gun will be alot bulkier as i have removed the top rail in order to hide the seam along the top of the gun. and the lower pin/guide rail and the pin itself. These items will be attached to the finished resin piece in wood for a finished look. so will the hammer, breach lever and the cylinder of course

The trigger guard will be thinner but that is only one of many things that need more shaving and sanding before we can cast

Elijya I have not worked on the cross for a couple months. The fine woodwork is very tedious. But you will see it finished at some point I hope.

Here is the near finished masters for the samaritan.
You can see the top rail and the body here.

Here we see the cylinder and the body. (almost ready to cast!)

As i was drawing it i was thinking it was too big. But now i wish i had made it bigger yet. The shape will be right but the scale will be smaller than the original I think. This thing will be a monster when its done I can tell you that. It will look and feel like a real Handcannon.
