Thanks for that fabulous recap. :p

I was at home depot and they had dryer hose that is already silver and about the right thickness if y ou want a quick cheap set. A more realistic set that would also be low budget would be using three pieces the same length of 1/2 inch sprinkler tubing (usually black) and tape them next to eachother tight together to make a thicker arm. Then use tape or cardboard to add the claw or what ever. Good luck on the costume

what things did u use for each layer of the tent.. i saw when u were building them.. but what actually were they?

They are molded individual pieces of resin. Not complicated per say but time consuming

that's cool. but wouldn't it make more sense to squeeze teh trigger to close it?

Yes it would. But toy biz wouldnt want kids stabbing themselves in the eye everytime they turn around now would they?

about eight of those disassembled and patched together would be quite a costume

It would look like the movie,....!

I Think so. With some ingenuity you could probably get them to close and open still

ya i was just thinking that same thing

But now the qustion is, how do we get them to stay together, tape, and glue wouldn't work, because you would have to put layers and layers of that stuff on.

That would be awesome if you could put those on your back, and maybe use a remote to move them!

An auction just ended on Ebay for a three inch section of the movie originals for 1200.00 Damn!
