What is an another name for a plaintiff's attorney?

Prosecutor?

I believe a prosecutor works for the state (district attorney) and brings a criminal suit against someone accused of a crime in the state's name.

I don't think a plaintiff's attorney has another name other than the Plaintiff's Attorney, as opposed to the Defendent's Attorney.

or Defense Attorney...

and I think you're right...I was just grasping for straws.

Complaintants counsel .. ?

I think it maybe counsel.

Seems likely eh?

Depending on what the lawyer's work deals with, they could also be called....civil litigation attorneys.
