Any good ones out or coming out.

Any system

If you havent played Oblivion, go play it. Its out for the 360, PS3 and PC.

Hellgate: London is looking fantastic, I think it's coming out pretty soon on PC. The Witcher on PC is supposed to be pretty good too.

Mass Effect looks great. That comes out in November for 360.

yeah what kind of RPGs do you like and what have you played? Id defiently suggest Oblivion. That will give you months of enjoyment. If you havent played them, then check out FFX and FFXII

FF XII sucked balls

And I'm a final fantasy fanboy.

Steer clear of that one, trust me.

^ i always play thru the ff games twice at least with out fail. this one i couldnt be bothered. that says it all...

not only that but the combat system is ******ed. It's still turn based combat and it's not like you can dodge enemy attacks

the only real difference is you can get your character to move around a bit while waiting for them to hit their opponent, and you can get your action meter running before you get in range so you can get a free first attack.

I liked it the way it was, this game just didn't feel like final fantasy.

indeed. when i got to the end the story was just picking up and i was thinking if this was the half way mark this game would actually be good.

but to answer chosen 1's question, any final fantasy part from 12 lol
im gona get the online FF today, ff 11. ive heard its hard to start but once your in its great, so if you dont mind paying a lil every month i would give that a go. but you cant go wrong with a FF game. ( part from 12) lol :D

if you have a 360, blue dragon was surprisingly awesome.

It looks a bit kiddie orientated from the outside but it's got fantastic gameplay and a great story (apart from that little ****head marumaro :cmad: )

I was not surprised when I found out it was written by Hironobu Sakaguchi

It feels more like the earlier final fantasy games than the latest iterations though which is a good thing in my book :)

ive got that. im scared to play it atm cos its 3 disks long and im not ready for that type of rpg commitment lol

yet im getting a online rpg... odd lol

that ses it all right there lol i wana complete some other games before i get to that, i have to many i havent even touched :csad: lol

although, to be fair, you could probably do it at 15hrs a disk. I just like killing EVERYTHING and getting my characters insanely levelled though... :D

If you want classic RPG goodness then Skies of Arcadia Legends for the GC is great.

Rogue Galaxy is also really good for the PS2, that is relatively new.

FFIII for the DS and Dragon Quest Slime is great fun with no complicated story.

And then one of the all time greatest Tactic RPG games Final Fantasy Tactics for the PS1, and I think it's being re-released on the PSP.

I like RPG's, but I often find the progression is too slow sometimes, although one that did impress me for what it was a year or two ago, was mystic heroes. I normally play champions of norrath type thing, and now oblivion on ps3, but mystic heroes for ps2 was damn fun if I do say so, boss fight were interesting and impressive, general gameplay was fast paced and fun, and gave you enough level up-ing stuff to keep you involved all the time.
