Need serious advice on sticky situation!

I have done much worse than this and not been punished for it when I was your age, dont worry.

seems like you already answered your own question; you won't have somebody else buy a new bottle, so just fess up; honesty really usually is the best policy; your parents will probably respect you more for being open and honest with them . . . especially if you replace what was taken; life is all about owning up to your mistakes

On a very special episode of Blossom, CashforStash's friends steal alcohol from his house.

From the sounds of things, you'll be fine. It's not like you had a massive party and loads of people stole all you alcohol, you had a couple of people over and the stole one bottle. I doubt you're parents will over-react too much, especially not if you seem as remorseful as you do on here.

And as for breaking the news, if you wait a little while, say an hour or so, then approach your parents with the money for the replacement bottle and tell them exactly what happened, everything should be ok.

And don't worry about over thinking things, I'd probably do the same in your situation. :yay:

like in that movie Weird Science?

Thank you, and I am 100% willing to give them the money for the bottle. I just don't want to be kicked out or grounded for months cause I've never been grounded, but I pray for the best. This is such a serious situation in my mind.

Does anybody have any horror stories like this that are worse? I need comfort lol.

Also, I guess this is why i don't socialize much with groups, and why i mainly stick to my group of friends.

Lol aww. This is so not a big deal - very typical teenage issue to have. Don't worry about it. I'm sure that your parents won't be PLEASED, but they'll be glad you told them the truth. You didn't do anything wrong. Most people are the ones stealing the alcohol from their own parent's liquor cabinet :oldrazz:

Well today (wed) is the last day of being a free bird :(.

Tomorrow I have to speak up to my parents -_____-.

Wow,Telling the truth.I would have lied my ass off (and got away with it),It's good you told/telling the truth though.

When your father asks what happened to his crown royal, claim to have no knowledge of the contents of the liquor cabinet. When he calls you a liar and puts the blame on you, turn the tables and ask him to prove that he didn't just take the crown royal out of the cabinet as a test.

He won't be able to prove it, and thus you'll win, but only after a slow progression to turning the tables. It won't work if that's your first response out of the gate.

Get some money together, sell some of your cd's and books, wait outside a liquor store until a criminal type passes and ask him to buy it for you, drink the whole bottle, and time it just right so that you are at your peak drunk when your parents walk in the door. This should put your parents at ease with what happened.
I think it is awful what your friends did, if they were gonna drink that expensive whiskey, they should have woken you up to join in.
This way, your parents won't be so angry at your friends for not sharing the whiskey with you, they will also appreciate you taking the initiative to buy a new bottle to replace it, and will probably give you a pat on the head for shoving it to your friends by drinking a whole bottle to yourself.

Let us know what happens and again, dont worry so much about it. Tell the truth and offer to replace the bottle.

Just tell the truth & replace the bottle. Lying about it & then your parents finding out, would make it worse.

I had a few girls over and one of my mom's necklaces went missing. I got yelled at for not watching them in the house but that was the worst of it.

Another time I threw a small party and almost got away with it. I cleaned the entire house before my parents got home from their vacation but didn't notice a statuette got knocked behind a cabinet and smashed. I tired to lie and say I accidentally knocked it over but my mom freaked out and call my friend's mothers to see where they spent the night.I wound up grounded for two months.

It's amusing how much you're freaking out over this. First off, don't pay for a new bottle. They stole it, not you. Just tell your dad what happened and go from there. Crown Royal is **** whiskey anyway. They did your dad a favor.

I like Crown Royal cuz it's smooth. I prefer not to have 3rd degree burns of the esophagus. :o

It's just a bottle of Crown, it isn't like someone made off with a priceless artifact. Relax and own up to what happened, secure in the knowledge you've done the right thing.

Or....you could swipe one of the other bottles, tell them that they stole the Crown and whatever else you swiped, then sell it to the thieving skanks for a significant profit. :o

Parent's are home in five minutes.

My heart has never beated so fast in my entire life.

Greeeeaat, my grandparents are driving them back from cuba, and are staying for a few hours for dinner.

I can't tell them while my grandparents are here, and what if they check and notice while my grandparents are here.

MENTAL BREAKDOWN. Heart is thumping like crazy

Tell them while your grandparents are in there. That way if your Dad is too harsh on you, your grandparents might be the voice of reason and mitigate on your behalf.

I guess i can pull them off to the side, and tell them.

-_________-, i don't want to seem annoying, but i'd do ANYTHING to get out of this situation. Even pay like 200 dollars. Gah i'm crazy.
