Neighbors

When it comes to your next door neighbors, would you say that you get along with them or do you not really talk to each other?

I get along exceptionally well with most my neighbors, though there are one or two houses up the street I'm kind of scared of.

My upstairs neighbors, I think are raising a small herd of elephants. The neighbors beside me are pot-heads who party way to loud until way too late, and leave their trash in the bushes in front of our apartments. Can't wait for them to get evicted.

In the 4 years of living in my apartment, I've never talked to or even seen my neighbors

Live in a condo in a somewhat upper middle class area. Truth be told they're all older white people and suburbanites. We say our hellos if we see each other in the hall, but that's about it.

I got along very well with my previous next door neighbor and the one who lived two doors down but they've moved (active duty military). Now I've got a new one. I've not met the person yet since I got home from my trip but I think the first thing I'll say to him/her will be, "I hate your truck."

Other than those two, I get along with the people in my neighborhood. We say "Hello" when we see each other but I am not one to get too close to my neighbors where I'll be over at their place or have them over at mine and talk to each other for hours. That kind of closeness makes me ... uncomfortable.

I just moved into my new townhouse a couple of months ago....and I haven't really gotten around to knowing my new neighbors as of yet.

When I lived with my parents in Cherry Hill, Baltimore City, I knew just about everyone in my neigborhood, got along with most of them....as for my apartment, when I lived there I was better off not knowing anyone who lived there.

i train(ed) my dog to bark at any and all people who pass by its field of vision when she is in the house. alert me of any and all incoming parties. my guess is your neighbors did the same.

oh and my neighbors are just fine, stay out of my business, and ill stay out of yours. the american way.

we got new neighbors in the house to our right, but i rarely see signs of life from that house and haven't met them.

the house to our left is a widowed mother and her teenage daughter. i've only spoken with the mom once when her cute but annoying little dogs wandered into my yard. they seem okay, but never really made an effort to welcome us to the neighborhood when we moved in so we don't socialize with them.

we haven't really spoken to any of our other neighbors on the block except for the younger couple across the street. the guy has a newer vw beetle with the autobots symbol on the roof. they're almost as anti-social as we are.

They also seem to enjoy step arobics in the middle of the night, which sucks since my bedroom is right under them. Also they thump up and down the stairs all the time!

Our other neighbour told us she thinks they are running a knocking shop, lol.

It would explain the noise and the traffic, anyway

Got 3 neighbors.

One on the right are a young Mexican couple with a kid. The wife's hot. They tend to throw parties on the weekends in the late night hours.

Neighbor on top are Asians. The only noise they make is when they walk. The building's old and you hear creaky on everyone of their steps. Other than that, they're cool.

And finally there's the neighbors on my left. A big white family, about 7 of them total. Mostly quite but the mom tends to scream at the top of her lungs when it comes to dealing with her sons. One of which is probably in his 30's and his heavily tattooed.

Overall, they alright.

Most of the people who live near me don't speak english, so we tend not to talk. But my downstairs neighbor is this skinny mid-20 year old couple. They are both really skinny and dirty looking. The guy gets the mail without a shirt and it is disgusting. There is an outside door which leads to a small room with doors to their apartment and our apartment. And they tend to just leave their door unlocked and slightly ajar all the time.

It's strange.

I'm cool with my neighbor, when we see each other we have a little conversation and sometimes I talk to his wife.

His two daughters are hot as hell, but they both have preppy looking boyfriends; plus they're white so I know I DEFINITELY don't have a chance.
