Loved the first movie. I think it would be pretty tight if they made a sequel. Im not sure where they could go with the story but I wouldnt be too worried with blomkamp and jackson behind it

Anyone else think they should make a sequel? Or just quit while its awesome?

Post some ideas about where you think the story could go!

Maybe if the story was right.

The only story I'd really wanna see is Christopher or his grown son coming back to save the rest of the aliens.

I think it'll happen and I'd be all for it. They REALLY hinted at it... I mean, the fact that they specifically said that the aliens were moved to District 10 is almost a dead giveaway.

Damn, I loved District 9!

I don't want a sequel.

Yeah thats true. I hope they do though. It would be a great dissapointment if they didnt

I really don't want a sequel. I loved the ending and want it to stay that way.

I'd rather the director go make another awesome movie from a new idea.

If they keep it that way, then thats just horribly ******, Christopher leaving them there like that.

What is wrong with a speculative ending? The movie made it very obvious that he was going to came back with help.

Some of the best movies are the ones that make you guess. And just because there isn't a sequel, it doesn't mean Christopher wouldn't come back. If I told you Christopher came back would you feel better?

Haven't seen it yet, but it doesn't look like a movie that needs a sequel.

You will, but it still doesn't need one.

I dunno. I tend to like leaving open endings open.

Depends on if you're lying or not.

When I left the movie I was thinking that a sequel would be titled District 10. Or give it a different title.

I believe they should make a sequel. I wanna know what happens next especially after the last scene. What happens in District 10? What will happen when Christopher comes back? That dude they was interviewing gave some ideas. Would Christopher come back with other Aliens and gather his people and take them home? Or would Christopher come back with an army and declare war? Or both?

If the sequel did pertain to the aliens declaring war, I'd be a little iffy for the fact it might make them come off no better than us. I don't want them to look like monsters.

That's the great thing about the first film is it makes you question what exactly defines humanity.

I wouldn't mind a sequel or prequel, but only if it's done right. Im remaining neutral about it until I hear some compelling news about where it will go from here.

If it has the same creative team behind it, then yes, absolutely
