Ive read 2 seperate comments from ppl that saw the 10min fotage ,stating that the trailer itself is a bit underwhelming.

Ya....most said compared tot he 10 minute footage...but that's to be expected. 10 minutes easily can trump 2 minutes.

Agreed lol. I just want to see it in HD now. It was awesome in blurry...now I can't wait to see how awesome it is in 1080!

True but he genuinenly wanted to tackle that franchise. It wasn't really forced upon him and I think letting him do his thing on Halo would have been incredible granted we ended up getting District 9 and now Elysium so that's always great.

But it's clear to me he would have made one hell of a Halo movie that much is for sure.

Eh, don't know about that. I trust Blompkamp more than Snyder/Goyer and he has an astronomically better leading man in Damon. MoS will rock but this will be the best reviewed film IMO.

I'm sure he would have done great with it. But MS likes to micromanage everything so it may never have/will turn out because of that.

This is probably my most anticipated film now, alongside STID and MOS.

So I managed to catch it before falling asleep. And I'm glad I did, that was sweet! Like others have said, I'm anxious for the HD version, with all the stirring but quick visuals. I was more heavily intrigued than totally swayed or blown away by the trailer though. But which also means it's an effective trailer, since I can't wait to see the whole thing.
