Netflix's She-ra revival

Awesome!! I'll be all over this one.

I've always felt She-Ra had more commercial potential in today's market than He-Man, so this should be interesting (and no, you don't need a He-Man series to "introduce" She-ra to have her story make sense).

Yay let's do this! Definitely time for Netflix to become cool again

Can't wait to see the updated Evil Horde.

Looks like it will be a fairly straight forward version at least with the original characters. I imagine it will be a little darker and more serious, but still have humor laced in similar to Voltron and Korra.

We unfortunately can't say the same for the new Thundercats trash.

I still need to see faces. I'm not crazy about Lumberjanes' art style. That poster's pretty, though.

EDIT:

NM looked it up. I hope the show doesn't have that type of art style.

Also, the writer, not the artist.

It's hard to get a sense of the show's art style until we see some actual footage. I don't expect something akin to the 1980s series, but I hope it looks nothing like the 2D and CG comedy series we are seeing these days.

It looks very much to be in the same vain as the new Voltron series.

That I can live with. I hope Hordak looks really cool and badass.

I hope Hordak looks closer to this than the 1980s series.

She-Ra isn't exactly a sacred cow to me. The old show is very dated, much like Voltron, but I think they can modernize and make it more serious and it will be good.

In the 1980s cartoon, Hordak wasn't very threatening, and was sort of a one-note comedy joke. Dr. Claw in Inspector Gadget was more of a threat.

Oh cool Sandra oh is in the cast. This might be good for my little niece!

First image of She-ra.

If thats from an episode, it looks A LOT better then an image I saw a few days ago and I will be happy

I love it. My wig is standing by ready for snatching

Interesting. Looking at that image just makes me go... Why has there never been a Wonder Woman proper cartoon WB? You think that would have been fast tracked the moment Gadot's solo film was the hit it was?

Oh, some man-bi***es are really mad at that redesign. They've been whining for the last two days because their penises are not pleased with it.

I think she looks cute.

Because they are more enamored with Harley Quinn for some reason.

I've seen plenty of women not that excited about the style.

And there's nothing wrong with that. But I was specifically talking about the "Why does She-Ra look like a man now, won't somebody please think of my penis?" crowd.

I can see the concern based on the other images I have seen, which may end up being a bit more accurate to in show animation. We will see.

I don't get why they didn't have a DTV set to be released around the time of the movie. A special edition of the one with Keri Russell is nice, but...

So that surprised me. A lack of series, less so, just because their usual avenue of releasing series (Cartoon Network) has been so apologetically ****ty with scheduling and so forth. Now, ideally, with their own streaming service in play, this is a good opportunity to develop a WW series that could hit alongside 1984.
