I'm ALL FOR the Hellraiser remake. Clive Barkers doing it and I thing the creater knows what's best.

I think Rob Zombie has learned his leason now about remaking other francises.

It wasn't so bad. Not great, but not that bad. Zombie seemed to have been unfocused. That all I really have to say. It could have been better.

Well what if she Harleen Quinzell as a psych doctor and then when The Joker breaks out of Arkham in the next film (#3) he just kills her instead of taking her with him....a nod to those who think she annoying and should die. Right when you think he is insome sick kind of love and about to take her under his wing...BAM!...shot right in the face and then he gets out of Arkham.

As for Halloween...I liked it, I like Rob's movies, he has some original ideas in his first two and he took one of my favorite horror films and gave it more depth. If you take some of what he did and think of it in the context of the original it just makes the orignal even better. Loomis and Michael's relationship is given more context, and Taylor makes a pretty damn big intimidating Myers, good stuff. The end is little off setting for me cause it strays away big time from the original, but could easily leave the door open for another weather Rob is involved or not. It made $31 million over the weekend and set the record for labor day opening beating Transporter 2 so it can't be to awful.

As for Hellraiser...It's not Clive remaking it, he is just the producer and has some power over the script. He is hiring a new younger talent to direct and make it different. It's still to me one of the best "horror" films compared to the rest of the crap that followed it.

Halloween was okay. The whole prequel thing wasn't that great though. There was nothing special about it. It was just mediocre. He killed his family, went to jail, talked for 2 weeks, the mexican told him to live inside of his mind, and he never spoke again. It was nothing new and nothing that couldn't have just been left to the imagination. The ending I loved! That was probably the best part about the whole film. Boom! and cut to black.

It's probably self-promoting hype. You say you're sworn to secrecy and it makes people think you're important, heck she's already got people here talking.

It's usually the case that the minor actors don't even know what their role is.

Yeah AMH did the same thing, and even Senator Leahy, who has just a cameo said that he signed an agreement to not specify what his role in the movie is.
