Since my brilliant and poignant post (and the first reply) mocking this selection as 'Random Blond #4' (and others echoing it) was deleted, I'll rephrase my opinion by saying that this casting is nothing. If this chick was going to be anyone substantial in the film, it would have been broken by larger news outlets. This is no different than when Christina Della Rose was seen babbling on an episode of Punk'd about how she just "finished shooting Spider-Man 2' and wound up as Chainsaw Nurse" or when news of Christina Cindrich's website listing her as being cast in Spider-Man 3 broke and she eventually wound up as "Test Site Technician #6".

If it were an important part, we'd get larger confirmation than a UK-based website reporting on a localized personality, either that or WB would have told everyone in her camp to "shut it" regarding news and there'd be nothing of her casting to speculate upon. She's not Harley and I severely doubt she's Silver or Vicki or even a younger version of Gossip Gerty. She's some random part, unimportant to mythos or storyline, nothing more.

In summation, she's still 'Random Blond #4'.

Yes, I'm aware that most of this exposition was unnecessary, but Michigan had a ridiculous loss today and I have been drinking.

Jessica, Earle's PA was played by Christina Adams who is a minor Brit actor.
The Maitre D was played by former Holby City star David Bedella.
Bruce's party guest who introduces him to Ra's was played by Alexandra Bastedo, a big star in the old days.

Nolan fills minor roles with tv stars, usually British ones. It doesn't mean we have to start jumping to conclusions on her role in TDK.

Becuase some people are stupid enough to call Batman Begins a prequel to Batman 89. And that all these movies are just remakes of Burton's.


Casting a Vicki Vale would only FURTHER this confusion and infuriating stupidity.


Nolan's going to face enough comparisons between Burton's movie with his Batman and Joker. The last thing he needs is a Vicki Vale.

But the role is clearly going to be small! Even if she was cast as Vicki, the main female in this movie is Maggie Gyllanhaal.

She is clearly going to play a very minor character, it's not a big deal.
