A poster on the BT forum had a gripe about the pictures looking too shiny and compared them to the Star Wars visual effects which he found to be subpar. How were your impressions on the commercial? Is there any merit to the posters opinion?

The flying looks great. Superman really is a dynamic part of the environment.

The forces against superman look awesome... Like he really is flying that fast.

The cape looks great, not heavy at all.

The red goes from darker to lighter shades depending on lighting (thats pretty cool)

Superman dosent seem too concerned at first with the Plane. Just 'doing whet he usually does' I guess.


I am waiting for it to come on again for I can get a copy for you guys.

Was Routh great in that footage? I mean emotions and acting...

He didnt say anything. Was just crusing around flying the the streets. Laying on his back with his hands behind his head. Then you see him saving a burning airplane. I would ahve to see the comercial before I can comment on the affects. The flying looked great though

I have no fears for the effects in the film now.
