New Alan Wake Video!

Delusive said:
Wait. THAT video I just saw was on the 360? I'm quite confused, it looked like it was on a computer which had 4 cores (360 has 3 if I remember correctly), if that happened to be on the 360 and I was just mistaken then wow. If the 360 version will look as good and play as good as that anyway then wow. If the 360 version will only look slightly different than that version then wow yet again. Could someone clear this up for me?

WOW.

could you please tell me where i accused you of hating the playstation? or where i brung up the xbox? hm? because i um... didn't? you said, and i quote (again, jesus) "This and Gears of War are what made me buy my 360." not because "you flat out wanted it" as you say. your quote, guy, not mine.

yeah, so, good one.
It could have been understood as he bought it for high quality games, which both show to be.

And....I don't see him claiming you accused him of hating the playstation. He simply stated he was bored with it.

Fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail :meow::meow:

Yep. I acted talkative didn't I?

I tried to express the wowness that is wow with such a game that likes to make one go "wow." :cwink:

Anyway, found out the answer. The guy behind this said that the 360 and PC versions should be identical.

Has Credible ever done anything right on these boards? I mean, even once?

Good job getting a PS3 that has zero good games, opposed to a system with at least ten.

Okay, you go it first. But holy ****, that was ******ed. Actually, beyond ******ed. He's in an all new league.

I'm not usually that rude on here, and I'm sorry. Look....if you honestly think I dropped over $400 on a 360 to only play two games then you really aren't thinking. I'm not rich, and I certainly don't have spare money to throw around, which, had you payed attention earlier you would have picked up on. Gears of War and Alan Wake were my two deciding factors. No, you did not say anything about the PS, however, I have had playstations the entire rest of my gaming life, post nintendo. As I recall, I've had four 360 games come and go and I have Ultimate Alliance on preoder so my fiancee and I can play together. If the ONLY two games I truly wanted to play were Gears of War and Alan Wake, I would simply go find someone I know with the system and mooch off of there's. Some people are in such a rush to make other people feel or look supid that they don't use common sense and attempt to think before they type some "oooh boy aren't you a dumbass" remark.

Ignoring that credible guy who seems to get stuff wrong a lot, this game is going to be awesome.

I can't wait.

I didn't know you could go inside buildings and talk to NPCs! I didn't even know the game HAD NPCs! :D

No loading times = :D

Multiple Alan Wakes! :D

The gameworld is 36 square miles with those graphics!?!?!?!

1.3 miles draw distance!

Man, this game is going to be CRAZY! I can't wait! :D

What kind of specs will the PC need to run Alan Wake? (UPDATED)

Nothing is certain about the specifications but you will need Windows Vista and a fairly high spec PC. Remedy have showcased Alan Wake running smoothly on an Intel Core 2 Quad system overclocked at 3.73Ghz with GeForce 7900GTX.

Markus from Remedy has said “Alan Wake would pretty much not run on any single core processors, although it may be possible to run on single-core Pentium 4 processors with Hyper Threading enabled, with noticably reduced image quality/experience.”

Yep, I'm getting the 360 version.

Yeah, seriously. Unless this game is coming out in five years, good luck getting a PC that will run this mofo.

NAH, IT WON'T TAKE THAT LONG. ONCE 'VISTA' RELEASES, YOU'LL SEE MORE AND MORE PC'S WITH MINIMUM SPECS CAPABLE OF PLAYING MOST GAMES.....'MS' WILL SEE TO THAT. BY THE TIME THIS GAME RELEASES (I'M GUESSING X-MAS NEXT YEAR), THOSE SPECS WON'T SEEM SO OUTRAGEOUS.

:wow:

****...NOW I NEED NEW PANTS. :ninja:

You know that Coal Mine will be a very scary moment. I'll play that one during the day. :D

I DON'T LIKE WHEN DEVS SAY "WHEN IT'S DONE" ABOUT A GAME'S RELEASE DATE BECAUSE THAT USUALLY MEANS "NOT ANYTIME SOON, JUNIOR" :csad:

They've been working on it for two years now. Max Payne took four years, but Max Payne 2 took only two.

I'd say we'll see this game within a year.

Wow...this game, along with Mass Effect themselves are enough to make people choose a 360 over a PS3....and is it just me, or does Alan Wake look like somebody put Christian Bale and Luke Wilson together?
