NEW Character KNOX

These days you’re working on Heroes. That must be very different from working on The Wire…
My character’s name on Heroes is Benjamin Knox Washington. I can’t really disclose much about him, but I can tell you it’s a lot of fun. So many special effects — and it all winds up looking so real. The set is different — it’s warmer outside, obviously — and in Baltimore, since most of us are not from Baltimore, we all hang out and go to dinner after shooting. We’re like a family.

For once, I'd like to see a 100% respectable African American male character with powers. It's something I don't think I've ever seen, at least not for very long. If this is a villain, or a criminal-turned hero... boo.

Regardless, they filmed up to episode 16 of season 2, so perhaps Knox appears there, otherwise, this is fictional. Notably sourceless as well.

The Haitian, while not "African American," is easily one of the more respectable characters on the show. Charles Deveaux was also supposed to be extremely respectable. DL was framed, and never a bad guy. Micah has been a good (albeit annoying). I think that's more than once.

Always, when I think of a new character I want to see on the show its an African American, with super speed, and who is a little more villainous.

I don't want Micah to die. His ability is great. I don't get what's so annoying about him either. He's smart and likes to use his ability to help people. That's annoying?

I love Micah, if they kill him off, it will confirm my suspicion that minorities on Heroes are expendable, while white males are not.

Won't stop me from watching the show if the show is awesome, but if all they give me is more contrived Petrelli brothers storylines like Season 2, then Heroes will be officially dead to me.
