I really liked the Angel one. Yes, it was disturbing, but at least we got to see what he went through as a child.

It was really good, in a very emotional/disturbing way. But yeah, that's the point of the scene, of course. I think what SCOTT&JEAN meant by "not liking" it is the fact that it's not an "adorable" scene, lol. But I think you'll like it. It's a powerful scene. It even depressed the hell out of bosef, lol, and mine too.

It is. I showed my 22-y-o friend (who's also looking forward to this movie) and she said she was gonna have nightmares about that...Out of all of the clips, I think that's the one that grabbed me the most.

It isn't even that gory, but it shows you the aftermath of him trying to saw off his wings and just the realization of what he's been doing (self-mutilation) is horrifying. That poor little boy needs a big hug.

i think in x1 they made the mistake of throwing out the southern belle aspect of rogue's character. yeah, she had an accent, but it would have made more of an impact if her character was portrayed as a vibrant young woman that was being horribly stifled by her gift. in the movies, rogue seems more like the bookish quiet girl instead of the lively spitfire.

It is. It really got into me so much that I can not see it again. No way. Thank god I didn't see that at night, I would have had nightmares.
