What the hell?

Damn.

Well, at least we get to see Run and Transference again this season...

im gonna watch all of them again because there is nothing on wednsday except stupid jack & bobby. i hate that show so much. Smallville doesn't show again on ABC Family until Dec 27. they r 2 episodes away from the season 2 finale. i missed that one.

What the hell.. I'll probably just watch them all again.

Hmmmm.... I wonder if the producers/writers decided to make a few changes with story arcs near the end of the season? As of a few weeks ago, this wasn't what the sked looked like. It was originally going to be Covenant/Crusade, Facade, Devoted and Perry through the end of December.

This sked makes more sense, but it also means the "cliffhanger" won't be the will they/won't they question from Unsafe, a notoriously debated plot here and on other boards. Maybe the producers decided to change that, like they did with the Lex/Lana marriage scenes from Scare?

Also, they don't seem to be too concerned with taking their time and having a nice long hiatus. eg - they don't appear to be under any pressure to get the eps in the can by March. *ahem* LOL!! ;)

Why would they do this kinda thing. This is how shows start to lose their viewers.

I always see shows go off of new episodes for a bit and then never know when the new ones will start again, and people just stop watching.

It is always what I see right befor the show getts canceled within one year or so.

Why do they do this type of thing. Not everyone who watches Smallvile keeps tabs on it via the net. They mostly just tune in to watche the new show and if it's not on they start to watch something else and then when it does come back again with new shows they've either lost interest or simply have now ***king clue when the hell the show's new again so the miss it.
When they finally realise the new eps are back on again they have missed a show or two and feel a little lost and just stop watching again as they lose interest.

That and now I've got Jack All to do on Wednesdays!!

Seriously that's two months of nothing.

Last season I thought they just ended the season early. I almost missed the new ones. Most people I know did, and the people I am meeting now who watch the show have already started to lose interest almost completely. They only watch the show if it happens to be convinient.

I meen TWO MONTHS. People are gonna think the show was cancelled or something!!

This information conflicts with the schedule that Craig from KSite has posted on December 3rd. Sure wish the mysterious scheduling would be clarified.

From Kryptonsite http://www.kryptonsite.com/:

"Those of us who were waiting for another new episode before the holidays are out of luck. The WB will be showing repeats of the episode "Facade" on Wednesday, Dec. 15 and "Devoted" on Wedneday, Dec. 22."

that was a good story too :D

:D Bet that lady now regrets paying me,I knew they would repeat that episodes sometime and could wait :D

well the only good thing I can see out of this outcome is that I won't miss anymore Lost episodes for some time now, until Smallville reairs.

This show is dying a slow and agonizing death...:o

GUYS, do you remember what the schedual has been like in the last 3 years. This is much much better.

Yes, we get stuck with a long break mid-season, but it's far better than what they've done in the past... anyone remember the 6 weeks of new episodes, 4 weeks of reruns pattern they've had for the last 3 years. This is a much better system. On the old system, we would have already had two month long breaks, and would be expecting two more for the bottom half of the season.

Although we get stuck with one long break mid season this year... we have been getting far more backtoback new episodes.

WB may also be reconsidering the wednesday night as Smallville night, because I beleive it will get whipped in the rating department, especially with the competition it will have in the winter season

Not true. I promise that when the end finally comes, it will be a quick and (near) painless guillotine job. Honest.

What's that you say?

No, I haven't eaten too many additives.

I had wondered about that... Are they taking a long break in shooting too?

I thought it interesting that they changed plans they had talked to the actors about, I mean Durance had said that she'd be in one more episode before the break (she must have been referring to Spell) and then every episode afterwards.

But she's not in Unsafe and is in Pariah, correct? So that must mean that Unsafe shoulda been the last episode before the break.

I'm wondering if the dismal ratings for Scare had anything to do with this...

If this means there fixing the things that were wrong with the first half of the season I have no problem with it....but damn thats a long time!!!! :( :(
