Troop Tank and Tank-Troopers?

The beige-scout-troopers seem to have similar un-armored legs of the ROTJ biker-scout-troopers, wonder if they'll ride a similar vehicle?
Tank trooper seem to have yet a 3rd new helmet design?

The Tie Striker is like half a Tie Interceptor.

It's a little odd to me that they're introducing new ships in this OT-era film. It would seem more appropriate to put these in the ST with thirty years of tech evolution behind them.

They are showing special forces. That is where this stuff is coming into it.

I really love the two new trooper designs. :atp:

It's a little odd to me that they're introducing new ships in this OT-era film.
ESB introduced new ships and troopers (Speeders, AT's Snow Troopers AT-At drivers etc..) that were not seen in ANH.
ROTJ introduced new vehicles and troopers that were not seen in ANH or ESB.
The implication was you hadn't seen everything in ANH, they bring out different vehicles and unique troopers for different missions and environments.
Exactly what we see here, this follows what was established.

Sam Witwer sums it up pretty well here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzX5DMgA48Y&feature=youtu.be&t=2645
If it dons't jump automatically at around 45:05

As far as design I think they've visually captured the era.
Prequel trilogy went back to a more 50s-60s looking sci-fi aesthetic, more rounded deco vehicles and helmets and fins.
The Awakens aesthetic is more streamlined, pieces etched together almost seamlessly.
Here I see a distinct 70s-80s heavy more boxy, clunky aesthetic.

These nuances are hard to describe with words (for me), and it's not a specific across the board thing (as there is also specific non-american diverse cultural references and things specifically taken out of time to give Star Wars it's other worldly feel)
But pretty much looking at it in it's simplest form example cars, or specific Cadillac evolution you see it.

We now know that the "C" in the slightly different looking AT-ACT stands for All Terrain Armored CARGO Transport? - http://www.superherohype.com/news/375159-star-wars-celebration-2016-poster#/slide/1

The emphasis on the big orange door or hull of the transport, I think suggests something other than standard troopers being the "cargo", something is going to deploy from there.
Maybe a unique way to drop troopers, or a new unique vehicle carried inside we haven't seen yet.
Could be whatever the new shoretroopers will drive.

Or it's all just an excuse where they will store the giant orange darts and nerf-cannon for the new toy:funny:

God, this all looks so cool! There is no other movie I'm anticipating more than this one, now that Civil War has come and gone.

This movie has so much merchandise potential, it'll probably drive fans and collectors bankrupt.

Nothing new, but wanted to collect these here, as it's another Imperial ship, which we've gotten little about, yet will likely play a big role.
Looks like a redressed Troop-Transport from TFA, with wings attached.

Or at least the mouth of it is. The rest of the ship may be CGd to look completley different.
Don't know if it's the same vehicle as the quad wing transport seen above, or it's own ship?

Also by the last gif this is the stolen ship Bodhi Rook is recruited to pilot.

Death Trooper TIE TRANSPORT?

Did anyone catch this second - TIE ship?
Had the same wing configuration as the TIE Striker, but was larger. It was used to transport the Death Troopers.

Had a sloping wedge shaped body, and an underside boarding ramp, which unloaded a line of Krennic's Death Troopers on the beach.

Can't seem to find any reference to it, anyone have any images of this vehicle?

It was such a unique aggressive design, I'm surprised there is no concept art, visual guide, no models or toys?

It was reminiscent of Kylo Ren's coffin like transport, but in gray and with TIE-Striker wing configuration.

Sorry about my terrible skills, going by memory, just overlayed it on regular Striker, but it looked something like this.:woot: (I tried)
