Transformers New info, and confirmations!!

I just barely caught Michael in between takes. Among the things he mentioned:

1- They will be releasing more teaser posters in the coming months.

2- Paramount made studies and concluded that the TF "ANNOUNCEMENT" was the 2nd highest rated "teaser" this summer.

3.- They just finished shooting a lot of Pentagon interiors on a soundstage in scenes that involved many Chiefs of staff in their huge war room.

4.- Shia just was recently suspended over the edge of a 20 story building in a very dynamic and intense scene.

5.- The average transformation time from normal mode to alt mode and vice versa is about 3 to 4 seconds.

6.- The leaked pictures are legit (although a somewhat early rendering).

7.- Filming of massive chase scenes will begin in the following weeks.

8.- The CGI transformations by ILM are looking wicked and nastier every single day.

9.- Part 1 will be about why the transformers came to earth.

10.- This movie will be a new start for the live action franchise that will not be based on any particular TF TV series and/or comic book.

sorry if this has been posted already..............

I've been told by some that the action will be on a scale no one has ever scene on film (I know hyperbole). It's like all the action in Bay's movie rolled up into one.

Yeah I read that elsewhere, but I am more shocked at the 3 to 4 seconds timeframe. That's going to be FARKING COOL AS SHAT! I am geeking out to that factoid. Just imagine Prime drving down the road ... and Blackout is flying high chasing him. As Blackout emits the EMP pulse, Prime turns left real hard ... transforms, pulls out the gun, and blasts him ... this action would take 5 seconds ... OMGASM!!!

I have to side with Xwolverine2 and Mal Akai, on this one. For such a bad director, he sure has a lot of blockbusters.

Yeah, we all know box office success = quality. Titanic and Fantastic Four were such great pieces of cinema. And the inverse is also true. Fight Club flopped because it was a terrible movie

Yes, you are correct. I do not like a SINGLE Bay movie because they are all the same overmade, cliched, slow-motioned, ADD-edited, pieces of crap. The Bad Boy movies are the worst.

The Island started off ok, for the first 30 or so minutes, then we get a typical Bay movie with laughably implausible action scenes and the like. It was so bad, they had the audacity to blame the CAST, when it was Bay who made the movie what it was. I think people are getting tired of Bay, as his movies are making less and less money at the box office.

I find that funny coming from someone who hates Scorsese yet hasn't seen any of his REAL movies. I've seen most of Bay's movies, and they're all bad. I have a reason to hate him, but you have NO reason to hate Scorsese.

Besides, I've seen the stills, the teaser, and a lot of BTS. I know about the cast and premise, as well as other info. I did NOT say it was going to suck, just that the chances are very high. Very high. I predict in fact that this movie will flop at the box office after bad word of mouth, the critics will do their usual and justified bashing of Bay, and he'll have a little bit more trouble in the future getting work (which is a start to me).

But that's my opinion. I don't usually like to get into topics about things I don't like -- such as Bay and the crap he passes off as films -- but I like the Transformers so its hard.

Undrafted leave me out? I have high hopes for this movie. After seeing the models and looking at my alternator sitting on my entertainment center. I don't see the problem with any of the models. Sure they don't look like the cartoon, but this is farking REAL, SON. The Alternator line is the closest to real life till the movie is out. If you hate the movie designs I suggest not buying the Alternator line.

BTW ... Bad Boys 2, Armageddon, and The Rock ... FTW. I like Bay.

I wish Jerry Bruckinhimer was attached to this as well.
