Yes, but that one chapter in the begining (when he was hovering in his ship above what was left of Krypton) was a very nice read.

Especially when he found the Valley of the Elders, all the thoughts that were going through his mind. All of what he must have felt and why his mother Lara was so drawn to that place.Like the book said - he knew and was drawn to it.All the greatness of what his people must have been like there in the Valley of the Elders - that was amazing to read.

To the point when he saw Sor-El - how he was feeling weak but kept on searching - till he discovered the crack in the Shield of Sor-El.

Then as he was escaping from the planet-without his special abilities to help him escape quicker and all he could say to his ship was "home" that was interesting to wonder what it might have been like on the big screen.

The pain, torn feelings from what he saw, having to leave the death behind, and what about those ghostly figures he thought he saw - but not quite sure if they were real or just a figment of his imagination due to the kryptonite poisoning he was struggling to escape from.

Without the colored inked pages to see - that was some pretty cool stuff to imagine when reading.

heck.....I just want to see the whole book come to life on screen

it was good!
