Iron Man New Iron Man Fan Film

Pretty cool for a fanfilm. I'll still take the real version, though.

Boring. And that entire "using choir music in a movie trailer" thing is so 1999. Favreau, Downey jr, Bridges and Howard friggin' own these dudes! Leave it to the professionals!

Well that was encouraging. Looked more exciting than the teaser actually.

Come on. The effects are impressive FOR A FAN FILM, but this is no way better than the "official" film, even if latter would suck, which I highly doubt!

The effects are obviously not better but they certainly had more action going for em. I don't see movie Iron Man fighting space ships. :oldrazz:

The iron man they used was just a statue made by sideshow collectibles that had been run through a graphic imaging application.

better? stop trying to get attention. this fan trailer looks like some space movie not an iron man movie. epic fail.

That was good for a fanfilm (which is to say, it still blew hard) but in no way even begins to compare to the official film.

I have a feeling the praise would be much higher if it weren't for the original statement. Fans tend to put things down in order to make what they like look better much like how bullies put down people to make themselves look better. Gotta give credit where credit is due. That is some amazing stuff for a fan made trailer. Let's see the Batman: Dead End guys do that...Or you know...any of the people in this thread for that matter.

i liked it.we've all seen multimillion dollar budget movies that looked like crap(batman and robin)and for the guy to do it on a shoestring,he deserves respect.anyone got something better, post it.

It looked great and the guy who played Nick Fury kinda reminded me of Bono lol ! Only regret : no James Rhodes. :(
Excellent work David & pals ! :)

Pretty good for a fanmade trailer:up: But I'll take the official trailer any day;) Is it me or does the Virgina Potts in this vid favor "Honey Bunny" from Pulp Fiction?

Thanks for the great feedback guys. :word:
Opps, my secret identity has been discovered now !! :woot:

This was made with practically No Budget and recorded with a Sony Mini DV Camcorder. The Actors were shot on a black backgound and the lighting is from torch lights or Garden projectors, I don't have anything to record audio and to produce sound itself.

My actors are friends, students and teachers doing it for fun. No drama training at all.

What you see is 2D frame by frame animation, all done in photoshop. My main area is pre-production and graphics so the lack of dialogue don't really bother me at all.
As my strength lies more in the image department.

Isaid it on another thread and i'll say it again.Great friggin job the actors were right on way to go.Is this the start of a made for tv movie? if so when?keep up the great work

I would love to have a whole team of people with different skills do all you've requested but then again I am the only one working on this project as the other people who are my friends were just responsible for the holding the fans, the torch lights and the garden projectors.
You'll see it in my next video, behind the scenes.

While my IRON MAN is very limited, I can only do as much as I can handle pre-production, production and post-production all by myself.

But hey, my project cost nothing at all : Escapism and fun for free and 100% Marvel Universe. Free to watch and free to enjoy. :woot:

Wanna see more of the cast? Miss Marvel, Pepper and Black Widow?

Those were some trippy visuals. Kinda hard to take at times, but very creative in the execution.

The music choice, however, leaves something to be desired. Just because it's a fanfilm doesn't mean you have to use music that's been used within the genre your film is based on.
It seems to be an unwritten rule or something, and I wish people would just look a little bit harder for something fresh.

You should try posting this on TheForce.net's Fanfilm forums. That's pretty much the best Fanfilm audience I've been able to find around. They do more than just Star Wars over there, and there's some really smart folks when it comes to fanfilming.

Thanks for the great feedback guys. That will help improve my next film.

......photoshop?...You did all of that frame by frame on photoshop?! Holy ****. I'd never even suspect it. That's some great stuff. That is a genius idea right there. Great stuff, man. Reminds me of those old black and white films where they'd actually draw on the film for special effects.

It was very visual and tight, but it felt like 'Iron Man' was on like a government team and nobody was in the suit. The effects-such as the Mandarian were awesome, it just didn't have any human feel at all.

Take Grayson for example, aside from all the color and the few EFX, you still had some dude quite passionate about keepin the Batman alive. It hinted of some real dialouge, which is where I think would have helped. It kind of looked Knight Rider-ish, or sydicated live action. Maybe some arieal west coast stock footage or some of stark engaging actual characters.

I did dig it, and hope to burn me one to add my Iron Man collection-keep it up.

Great stuff. Makes me as excited for an Iron Man tv show as Grayson made me want to see that movie.

I can't imagine what you'd be able to pull of if you actually did have a budget. But thinking about it makes me drool. And makes we want to watch the Iron Man movie now!
