The Dark Knight New Joker Clip

The clip is impressive.

But someone on the first page made a comment about how The previous Batmobiles aren't as tough as the Tumbler.

And while that is technically accurate, it just brings up my one and only complaint about "TDK" ... Really it's a complaint about the Nolan Bat-Films collectively.

I'm really tired of fans using Nolan's movies as an excuse to s**t all over the proceeding Batman movies.

Now I'm as excited about "The Dark Knight" as the next fan, but I can't stand it when some new detail comes up...and there's ALWAYS that one person that has to point out how said detail is "sooo much kewler than those Burton/Schumacher flicks."

Can't we just appreciate and enjoy "The Dark Knight" without taking a crack at the other films?

Just a suggestion...

I guess you missed the one a few posts above it that said the Tumbler isn't that powerful.

Door swings both ways there, chief.

If Nolans batman movies are better than the others, than people can say that, i dont see anything wrong with saying something is better when it is.

" he's gonna need something a lot bigger to get through this "

* joker takes out RPG *

BOOOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!

can't wait for this !!!!!!!!!!

Can someone please put this on Youtube, it keeps skipping for me :(

You might have a point if it weren't for the fact that overzealous fans of the previous films tend to take nitpicking to ridiculous levels in criticizing BB and (what they know of) TDK in order to defend or glorify the films they prefer. As someone just said, it swings both ways, and I'm tired of people making it look as if the older films are being martyred when there are plenty of people being just as unfair to these current films. Having said that, I do like both the older films and newer films, and wish people would just **** when it comes to trying to 'prove' that one is so much better than the other.

good to see a new clip but why do we need to see more clips we just got 6 more days for TDK

You are an expert, but I must respectively put another pov. Burton and Schumacher I feel hit their straps with their first Bat film and went into a downward spiral. Their second Batman film resulted in them not being asked to make a third. Take the Spiderman movies, Rami made a solid start and improved with the second, much like the Terminator films. Now it's our turn, Begins was a solid, almost tentative Batman film. It was a safe way of saving the franchise but now we are moving on to arguably the best Batman film of all time.

With Nolan and TDK we finally has someone who improves in their film making instead of declining. We are openly debating a third film with this case and crew, not with grimaces, but with hope of another enjoyable film. Both the Burton/Schumacher sequels were considered if not a dud then less than their predecessor. We finally have a sequel that uses it's predecessor as a launching pad for an even better film. If they come back for a third we maybe able to bring back Catwoman or Poison Ivy, characters that were either underdone or out right murdered in the other films.

By choosing to tell the origin story, I think Nolan and WB were trying to tell a story that precedes B'89. It could be seen as a companion film or an original take. But this is now the big league, by taking on the Joker and Two Face, TDK is challenging their predecessors head on. And by all accounts they are going to do it in style.

that was great!

but why did he hit the garbage truck?

I love how he has a bunch of rockets lol. Who sells him these things like even arms dealers, who believe me get every single sicko in the world to come to them for weapons, have to be like WTF when Joker walks through.
