no, they meant 300 as the limit of people who get in. participation is unlimited, but only 300 joker cards are going to be out there at the end.

EDIT: but now that I think about it...Maybe there's only one winner per city...

Option two: trailer screening for the first 300 participants to the nearby theater/auditorium in the area near the place where everyone is supposed to meet.

I don't mean to start a crazy madhouse, but really, 300 of your closest friends... that doesn't make sense, unless you take it literally, which means, you and 300 people go off and do something.

of course, option 2 is the more likely suspect, but places like Toronto don't draw 300 people to the game, but one winner in Toronto will make him (EDIT: Or her! )the ultimate fan with the power to deny or accept minions.

Well if thats so, there no real point then cause I mean the people could just go to the theater first, and not even go to said meeting place.

To me it seems like they're just doing what they did at San Diego, but on a much larger, more elaborate scale. The 300 number probably doesn't mean anything, it just gives a sort of 'guys, this must be HUGE' idea to it. It'll probably be more things of 'people on ground need to go to this location, find clue, people online figure clue out, gives new location, more traveling' and whatnot. An hour of people, undoubtedly in clown masks/makeup running around the city.
