I read that the creators of this game are the same Factor 5 that was responsible for the Nintendo Rogue Squadron games before they jumped ship (ala Rare).

From the video's I've seen and the screenshots, this is the next game I'm picking up after Ninja Gaiden Sigma this month. With Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Lair, I should be set until September when Heavenly Sword and Halo 3 come out *jumps for joy*

lol Shadow of the colossus for me was a diamond in the rough. I picked it up for the hell of it, just because it looked a tad obscure. Little did I know it was going to be the masterpiece that it was. That game has one of the best scores EVER in gaming/movie history IMO

And I'm sorry, but I still hate this game. There really is nothing about it that appeals to me in any way, and I really don't know why people think this has some of the best graphics out there. I continue to think it looks sodding awful.

ETA: The sea looks quite nice. I'll let them have that.

ETA 2: I do also quite like the giant sea creature. Lol.

Wow the Bridge level looks pretty bad now, I know people were complainign about how gold it was before but removing the post processing filters entirely? Bleh!

The best video is only available on the PSN. Unfortunately it might make you feel a little different though it looks like Lair will end up being hit and miss, environment to environment.

I find it varies level to level, in some levels it looks great like in the screenshots I posted, in others not so good. I don't disagree that at its best environments it looks an equal to something like Gears, and probably outdoes Gear technically rather easilly but Uncharted is probably a better 1:1 comparison versus Gears.

A lot of the new videos are horrible in quality so I guess we'll have to see with the demo etc how the game actually looks when beign played.
